Kurs til foreldre med barn i fosterhjem – en selvstyring av foreldre?

Author's version of an article published in the journal: Norges Barnevern. Also available from the publisher at: http://www.idunn.no/ts/tnb/2011/03/art06 The article presents results from a qualitative study of parents benefits in participation in course given to parents whose children are placed in foster care. The participants describe changes that had occurred in their life situations, and aspects of the course evaluated as useful. Essential findings indicate that the participants have increased self-confidence and regard their children in a new way. Foucault’s concepts of Power are applied in the analysis.

Opettajan antamalla palautteella on keskeinen rooli opetuksessa, sillä sen avulla oppilas saa tietää, miten hän etenee omassa oppimisprosessissansa. Lisäksi palautteella on vaikutus oppilaan motivaatioon ja itsetuntoon. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, miten lukiolaiset haluavat saada suullista ja kirjallista palautetta ruotsin ja englannin opetuksessa. Tarkastelin myös, miten opettajat antavat palautetta oppilaillensa ja onko kielten välissä havaittavissa mitään eroja. Tutkimusaineistoni muodostui 45 lukiolaisesta ja kahdesta opettajasta. Sammendrag Denne artikkelen belyser feltsamtaler som forskningsverktøy. Feltsamtaler er ofte usynlige og underkommunisert i den vitenskapelige litteraturen. Samtalene lar seg vanskelig tallfeste og beskrive; de mangler tilsynelatende systematikk og framstår gjerne bare som hverdagslig prat. Med søkelys på konteksten for samtalen og samtalens rammer og regi setter artikkelen feltsamtalen inn et kvalitativt metodeunivers.  The aim of this study was to investigate how at-home cancer patients perceived their life situations during the palliative care phase.
