Nuestra pretensión en este trabajo es cuestionar la distinción clásica entre «teoría», «prácticas de laboratorio» y «problemas». Intentaremos mostrar qué investigaciones realizadas en los tres campos privan de sentido a esta separación que, conviene notar, no guarda paralelismo alguno con la actividad científica real. Our aim with this paper is to question the typical distinction between «theory», «lab» and «paper and pencil problem-solving » activities. We intend to show that research done on these domains does not support their separation in the teaching/learning process. In fact, this separation does not take place in any real scientific activity.

Se aportan citas nuevas para 34 taxones de flora vascular incluidos en el Catálogo de Flora Protegida de Castilla y León y/o en la Lista Roja de la Flora Vascular Española, de los que se conocían pocas (o ninguna) localidades leonesas.SUMMARY: We provide new records of 34 taxa included in the Catalogue of Protected Flora of Castilla y León and/or in the Red List of Spanish Vascular Flora. Some of them represent additions to the checklist of flora of the province of León and the distribution of the others is not well known.
A beam search algorithm for minimizing crane times in premarshalling problems

The premarshalling problem consists of sorting the containers placed in a bay of the container yard so that they can be retrieved in the order in which they will be required. We study the premarshalling problem with crane time minimization objective and develop a beam search algorithm, with some new elements adapted to the characteristics of the problem, to solve it. We propose various evaluation criteria, depending on the type of container movement, for its local evaluation; a new heuristic algorithm including local search for blue its global evaluation; and several new dominance rules. The first purpuse of this investigation was to study the effects of sex and grade level on secondary students’ beliefs about epistemology and problem solving. The second purpuse was to analyze the contribution of both belief systems, grade level, and sex to problem solving achievement. One hundred and forty-four High School students, 9th and 11th grade students, took part in the study. Two questionnaires (Schommer and StageKloosterman’s questionnaires) and a problem solving test (two word problems of the PISA tests) were administered to these students. A newly established population of the fouling polychaete Spirobranchus cf. tetraceros is reported from the western Mediterranean (Valencia Port). Despite previous intensive surveys, this is the first record for the taxon in the Iberian Peninsula. Molecular analyses revealed that S. cf. tetraceros from Valencia are genetically identical to specimens from Heraklion, Crete, but different from those collected in the Red Sea and S. tetraceros sensu stricto from the type locality in Australia. Mediterranean and Red Sea S. cf. tetraceros form a well-supported monophyletic clade but are clearly distinct from New South Wales specimens of S. tetraceros. High-Pressure Properties of Wolframite-Type ScNbO4

In this work, we used Raman spectroscopic and optical absorption measurements and first-principles calculations to unravel the properties of wolframite-type ScNbO4 at ambient pressure and under high pressure. We found that monoclinic wolframite-type ScNbO4 is less compressible than most wolframites and that under high pressure it undergoes two phase transitions at ∼5 and ∼11 GPa, respectively. The first transition induces a 9% collapse of volume and a 1.5 eV decrease of the band gap energy, changing the direct band gap to an indirect one. El capítulo plantea la cuestión de la reflexividad entendida como la práctica nuclear del oficio sociológico. La primera parte explícita las transformaciones históricas que han generado la condición de posibilidad de la reflexividad epistémica como una condición necesaria. La segunda ubica la cuestión de la reflexividad en la sociología crítica y en la escuela del cualitativismo crítico español.

En esta obra se analizan los cambios en los modelos de emancipación juvenil en España en el período 1990-2020, centrándonos en la desestandarización del proceso, y la difusión de formas intermedias del mismo. La emancipación se concibe como la consecución de independencia respecto a la familia de origen, mediante un proceso complejo y multidimensional, determinado tanto por la agencia subjetiva como por la estructura social.
