Bisphosphonates (BPs) are potent drugs, used in metastatic cancer-like prostate or breast carcinoma. In recent studies, besides reduced bone remodeling, influences on angiogenesis and neovascularization were reported. Here, instant messaging as a mode of everyday communication in digital families is taken up for examination. We look, in particular, into the qualities that make WhatsApp an attractive communication tool for extended families: it allows both one-to-one and one-to-many interactions and provides multiple modalities for intergenerational family communication (voice, text, photos and videos). Cluster formation and rheology of photoreactive nanoparticle dispersions.

We show how photocrosslinking of small nanoparticles within a very dilute colloidal dispersion leads to the formation of large fractal particle clusters, which have a strong influence on the viscosity of the dispersion although the overall solid content is well below 5 wt %. Furthermore, the solvent plays an important role because of its function as an optical filter, for example, in toluene only photocrosslinking but no photocleavage takes place.
