Evidentiality is a grammatical category that encodes information source as its primary meaning. The information can be: acquired through direct perception, reported by others (hearsay) or inferred by the speaker upon considering the information that is available. Languages with an evidential grammatical category have morphemes with a primary evidential value (Aikhenvald 2004). Repeated Reading of Syllables Among Finnish-Speaking Children With Poor Reading Skills

The study evaluated the effect of repeated reading on reading speed among 36 Finnish-speaking poor readers in Grades 4 to 6. A switching replications design was applied: Group A (n = 20) received training first, and during this period Group B (n = 16) acted as a control group. After a midpoint test, the design was switched. The training material consisted of syllables, which were practiced during 10 training sessions for a total of 50 times. The reading speed of the trained syllables increased more during training than during the control period. Aerosol–cloud interactions contribute to the large uncertainties in current estimates of climate forcing. We investigated the effect of aerosol particles on cloud droplet formation by model calculations and aircraft measurements over the Amazon and over the western tropical Atlantic during the ACRIDICON–CHUVA campaign in September 2014. We investigate the combined effects of inclination, anisotropy and internal heat generation on the linear instability of the basic parallel flow. Author's accepted manuscript. When the corona pandemic became a fact, many parishes within the Church of Norway chose to start video streaming of services as a substitute for gatherings in the church. This article is based on a survey done among viewers of these broadcasts and sheds light on how online worship services were received. The findings from the survey show that the viewers value recognizability and authenticity, but at the same time expect the service to be adapted to the medium since the situation of viewing on a screen is quite different from being in a church.
Integrated Simulation and Formal Verification of a Simple Autonomous Vehicle

This paper presents a proof-of-concept application of an approach to system development based on the integration of formal verification and co-simulation. A simple autonomous vehicle has the task of reaching an assigned straight path and then follow it, and it can be controlled by varying its turning speed. The correctness of the proposed control law has been formalized and verified by interactive theorem proving with the Prototype Verification System.
