Quark Contraction Tool -- QCT

We present a Mathematica package for the calculation of Wick contractions in quantum field theories - QCT. Furthermore the package aims at automatically generating code for the calculation of physical matrix elements, suitable for numerical evaluation in a C++ program. To that end commonly used algebraic manipulations for the calculation of matrix elements in lattice QCD are implemented.
Abelian dominance and the dual Meissner effect in local unitary gauges in SU(2) gluodynamics

Performing highly precise Monte-Carlo simulations of SU(2) gluodynamics, we observe for the first time Abelian dominance in the confining part of the static potential in local unitary gauges such as the F12 gauge. We also study the flux-tube profile between the quark and antiquark in these local unitary gauges and find a clear signal of the dual Meissner effect. The Abelian electric field is found to be squeezed into a flux tube by the monopole supercurrent. This feature is the same as that observed in the non-local maximally Abelian gauge. Δ-baryon electromagnetic form factors in lattice QCD

We develop techniques to calculate the four Delta electromagnetic form factors using lattice QCD, with particular emphasis on the sub-dominant electric quadrupole form factor that probes deformation of the Delta. Results are presented for pion masses down to approximately 350 MeV for three cases: quenched QCD, two flavors of dynamical Wilson quarks, and three flavors of quarks described by a mixed action combining domain wall valence quarks and dynamical staggered sea quarks. The magnetic moment of the Delta is chirally extrapolated to the physical point and the Delta charge density distributions are discussed.
Flavour symmetry restoration and kaon weak matrix elements in quenched twisted mass QCD

We simulate two variants of quenched twisted mass QCD (tmQCD), with degenerate Wilson quarks of masses equal to or heavier than half the strange quark mass. We use Ward identities in order to measure the twist angles of the theory and thus check the quality of the tuning of mass parameters to a physics condition which stays constant as the lattice spacing is varied. Flavour symmetry breaking in tmQCD is studied in a framework of two fully twisted and two standard Wilson quark flavours, tuned to be degenerate in the continuum. Kl3Semileptonic Form Factor from (2+1)-Flavor Lattice QCD

We present the first results for the ${K}_{l3}$ form factor from simulations with $2+1$ flavors of dynamical domain wall quarks. Combining our result, namely, ${f}_{+}(0)=0.964(5)$ with the latest experimental results for ${K}_{l3}$ decays leads to $|{V}_{us}|=0.2249(14)$, reducing the uncertaintity in this important parameter. For the $O({p}^{6})$ term in the chiral expansion we obtain $\ensuremath{\Delta}f=\ensuremath{-}0.013(5)$.

Charmonium dissociation and heavy quark transport in hot quenched lattice QCD

We study the properties of charmonium states at finite temperature in quenched lattice QCD on large and fine isotropic lattices. We perform a detailed analysis of charmonium correlation and spectral functions both below and above Tc. Our analysis suggests that the S wave states disappear at about 1.5 Tc. The charm diffusion coefficient is estimated and found to be approximately 1/{\pi}T at 1.5Tc {\leq} T {\leq} 3Tc.
Lattice calculation of the pion transition form factor with Nf=2+1 Wilson quarks

We present a lattice QCD calculation of the double-virtual neutral pion transition form factor, with the goal to cover the kinematic range relevant to hadronic light-by-light scattering in the muon $g\ensuremath{-}2$. Several improvements have been made compared to our previous work. First, we take into account the effects of the strange quark by using the ${N}_{f}=2+1$ coordinated lattice simulation gauge ensembles. Second, we have implemented the on-shell $\mathcal{O}(a)$ improvement of the vector current to reduce the discretization effects associated with Wilson quarks. Finally, in order to have access to a wider range of photon virtualities, we have computed the transition form factor …
B-physics computations from Nf=2 tmQCD

We present an accurate lattice QCD computation of the b-quark mass, the B and Bs decay constants, the B-mixing bag-parameters for the full four-fermion operator basis, as well as estimates for \xi and f_{Bq}\sqrt{B_q} extrapolated to the continuum limit and the physical pion mass. We have used Nf = 2 dynamical quark gauge configurations at four values of the lattice spacing generated by ETMC. Extrapolation in the heavy quark mass from the charm to the bottom quark region has been carried out using ratios of physical quantities computed at nearby quark masses, having an exactly known infinite mass limit.
Nonlocal chiral quark models with wavefunction renormalization: Sigma properties andπ−πscattering parameters

We analyze the sigma meson mass and width together with the pion-pion scattering parameters in the context of nonlocal chiral quark models with wave function renormalization (WFR). We consider both nonlocal interactions based on the frequently used exponential form factor, and on fits to the quark mass and renormalization functions obtained in lattice calculations. In the case of the sigma properties, we obtain results which are less dependent on the parametrization than in the standard local Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model, and which are in reasonable agreement with the recently reported empirical values.
