Onda, a locality with an oscillating population between 300 and 600 dwellings in the 15th century and with Moslems and Jews in the local work, becomes a new piece of the puzzle that lets us see the capillarity of the wool textile manufacture in “La Plana de Castelló”. This capillarity can be seen in the production of clothes, just like in the raw material trade or in the movement of craftsmen. Resumen: El objeto de este trabajo es dar a conocer y estudiar la edicion de una bula de indulgencias de la Santa Cruzada, de vivos, escrita en catalan e impresa en Toledo en 1495, de la cual se ha hallado un ejemplar en el Archivo de la Catedral de Valencia. This paper analyzes the process of changing local laws (fueros) to a territorial law (fuero) in the context of the new kingdom of Valencia created in 1240 by King James I. Following the tradition of Catalonia and Aragon, also in Valencia the crown and nobility initially organized the repopulation based on different local fueros: Sepúlveda, Zaragoza, Daroca, Teruel, Fontana, costum de Lleida or costum/fuero of Valencia. But from 1245, the monarchy drove the territorial law (fuero) of Valencia, which has traditionally been interpreted as a political reason for confrontation between Catalan and Aragonese populators. In this essay we address one of the most important poetic subgenres in the tradition of Carmelite women: the works composed for ceremonies of vestition and solemn profession in which the nuns left behind his mundane life and opened a new life as the wife of Jesus. First of all, we provide a general overview of the customs and functions of the poetry in the Discalced Carmelites, which has been already analysed in the context of the Hispanic literature, but rarely from the perspective of the Catalan area. As in other medieval towns, local authorities of Castelló de la Plana controled legal prostitution. Town council supported public brothel in order to dissuade some passions that, otherwise, could degenerate into adultery and violence, and in the lastanalysis into disorders that threaten marriage as guarantee of material and social reproduction of community and its hierarchies.
