Descriptions of four new species of the genus Dinotrema Foerster with a mesoscutal pit and only medially sculptured propodeum are given. Dinotrema alysiae sp. n. (Denmark, England, Netherlands, Spain), D. paramicum sp. n. (Denmark, Finland), D. tirolense sp. n. (Italy) and D. valvulatum sp. n. (Denmark, Italy).

This study examines open access availability and self-archiving policies of 336 Finnish peer reviewed journals and serials which are classified at levels 1 to 3 in national Publication Forum. The study concludes that 53 % of Finnish peer reviewed publication channels are open access and 12 % of non-open access publication channels have defined their green open access policy to allow self-archiving. 6 % of publications practice delayed open access model and 2 % hybrid model. The study also concludes that only a small group of Finnish peer reviewed journals meet the focal Plan S requirements. peerReviewed

This report examines the actions taken for promoting the green OA in Finnish scholarly journals and their effects in 2016 and 2017. A Finnish-language form for suggesting publisher policies to SHERPA/RoMEO database was developed. It was linked into instructions for applying the government subsidy of scholarly publishing. Finally, a resolution on archiving was negotiated with the copyright organization responsible for distributing remunerations of a national license based article database (Elektra). Volatile compounds produced by adults of Anchomenus dorsalis under undisturbed and disturbed conditions were investigated with an all-glass aeration apparatus. GC-MS analysis of the crude extracts from undisturbed and disturbed adults highlighted four major volatile compounds, undecane, heneicosane, Z-9 tricosene and tricosane, of which significantly more undecane was released by disturbed adults compared to undisturbed beetles. The results of the study of many specimens preserved in different European museums are reported. The tribe Terpnistrini Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878 is resurrected. The distribution of the following species is enhanced: Pardalotaasymmetrica Karsch, 1896, Diogenadenticulata Chopard, 1954, Diogenafausta (Burmeister, 1838), Plangiopsisadeps Karsch, 1896, Poreuomenasanghensis Massa, 2013 and Tylopsiscontinua (Walker, 1869).
