Stability of the Calderón problem in admissible geometries

In this paper we prove log log type stability estimates for inverse boundary value problems on admissible Riemannian manifolds of dimension n ≥ 3. The stability estimates correspond to the uniqueness results in [13]. These inverse problems arise naturally when studying the anisotropic Calderon problem. peerReviewed

On a class of compactly epi-Lipschitzian sets

The paper is devoted to the study of the so-called compactly epi-Lipschitzian sets. These sets are needed for many aspects of generalized differentiation, particulary for necessary optimality conditions, stability of mathematical programming problems and calculus rules for subdifferentials and normal cones. We present general conditions under which sets defined by general constraints are compactly epi-Lipschitzian. This allows us to show how the compact epi-Lipschitzness properties behave under set intersections.

Whether or not an equivalence is a congruence depends on the set of operators used in building systems from subsystems. Generalized stability for abstract homotopy theories

We show that a derivator is stable if and only if homotopy finite limits and homotopy finite colimits commute, if and only if homotopy finite limit functors have right adjoints, and if and only if homotopy finite colimit functors have left adjoints. These characterizations generalize to an abstract notion of "stability relative to a class of functors", which includes in particular pointedness, semiadditivity, and ordinary stability. To prove them, we develop the theory of derivators enriched over monoidal left derivators and weighted homotopy limits and colimits therein.

Descriptors calculated from a specific representation scheme encode only one part of the chemical information. For this reason, there is a need to construct novel graphical representations of proteins and novel protein descriptors that can provide new information about the structure of proteins. Here, a new set of protein descriptors based on computation of bilinear maps is presented. This novel approach to biomacromolecular design is relevant for QSPR studies on proteins. Four-quark stability

The physics of charm has become one of the best laboratories exposing the limitations of the naive constituent quark model and also giving hints into a more mature description of meson spectroscopy, beyond the simple quark--antiquark configurations. In this talk we review some recent studies of multiquark components in the charm sector and discuss in particular exotic and non-exotic four-quark systems, both with pairwise and many-body forces.

Active queue management stability in multiple bottleneck networks

In this paper, we show that the active queue management (AQM) controllers, usually configured on a single bottleneck basis, may not prevent instability in the presence of multiple bottlenecks. We justify this result through a multiple bottleneck model.

Deep reinforcement learning is considered promising for many energy cost optimization tasks in smart buildings. How-ever, agent learning, in this context, is sometimes unstable and unpredictable, especially when the environments are complex. In this paper, we examine deep Reinforcement Learning (RL) algorithms developed for game play applied to a battery control task with an energy cost optimization objective. We explore how agent behavior and hyperparameters can be analyzed in a simplified environment with the goal of modifying the algorithms for increased stability.
