Tangible technologies provide interactive links between the physical and digital worlds, thereby merging the benefits of physical and virtual manipulatives. To explore the potentials of tangible technologies for learning linear equations, a tangible manipulative (TM) was designed and developed. Augsts angļu valodas prasmes līmenis ir viena no prasībām darbam aviācijas nozarē, kur angļu valoda ir darba valoda. Pētījumā tika izmantota gadījuma izpēte, kuras mērķis bija izvērtēt izvēlēto stjuartu angļu valodas mācību grāmatu un tiešsaistes materiālu lietderību valodas apguvei pašmācības ceļā. Pētījumā iesaistītie stjuarti vēlējās uzlabot visas valodu prasmes, kā arī uzskatīja, ka šādos materiālos ir jābūt iekļautiem ar gramatiku, leksiku un izrunu saistītiem uzdevumiem, pārbaudes darbiem, vizuāliem līdzekļiem, apgūstamo vārdu sarakstiem un dažādiem papildmateriāliem. The PicaLab project proposes the design, development, and assessment of an integrated modular software solution involving sound and music, with the aim of improving mathematical learning in the third, fourth, and fifth levels of primary education in Chile. While these modular solutions were designed as resources for the classroom, students outside of that context can use them too. The process followed a methodology in several stages in order to generate multi-modal functional prototypes, together with their respective didactic guides, that link music and mathematics. The present study examined the development of mathematics skills of Kosovar primary school children in terms of their gender, living area, socio-economic status, and achievement level. A special emphasis was placed on longitudinal investigations of the development of mathemat-ics skills in children with learning difficulties in mathematics over a 2-year and 4-month period. This study explored drivers of participation in job-related lifelong learning (LLL) among low-educated mature-aged employees and compared them across four Nordic countries. Workplaces can be low-threshold, effective arenas for development of their skills in work and learning. The paper builds on the Bounded Agency Model and theories of learning motivation, human capital, and workplace learning. Reading Performance of Young Adults With ADHD Diagnosed in Childhood

Objective: To study reading performance of young adults with ADHD and its relation with executive functioning. Method: Thirty young adults with a childhood diagnosis of ADHD and 30 with normal development (ND) were compared on reading accuracy, fluency, and comprehension. Furthermore, ADHD with reading disabilities (ADHD+RD) and ADHD without reading disabilities (ADHD-RD) subgroups were compared using self-report and informant-report versions of the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function–Adult version (BRIEF-A).
