Proton reduction by phosphinidene-capped triiron clusters

Bis(phosphinidene)-capped triiron carbonyl clusters, including electron rich derivatives formed by substitution with chelating diphosphines, have been prepared and examined as proton reduction catalysts. Treatment of the known cluster [Fe3(CO)9(µ3-PPh)2] (1) with various diphosphines in refluxing THF (for 5, refluxing toluene) afforded the new clusters [Fe3(CO)7(µ3-PPh)2(κ2-dppb)] (2), [Fe3(CO)7(µ3-PPh)2(κ2-dppv)] (3), [Fe3(CO)7(µ3-PPh)2(κ2-dppe)] (4) and [Fe3(CO)7(µ3-PPh)2(µ-κ2-dppf)] (5) in moderate yields, together with small amounts of the corresponding [Fe3(CO)8(µ3-PPh)2(κ1-Ph2PxPPh2)] cluster (x = -C4H6-, -C2H2-, -C2H4-, -C3H6-, -C5H4FeC5H4-). Ravinnolla voidaan vaikuttaa elimistön happo-emästasapainoon, joka saattaa edelleen vaikuttaafyysiseen suorituskykyyn. Emäksisyyden lisääminen elimistössä näyttäisi parantavan suorituskykyäkasvaneen puskurointi- eli vetyionien sitomiskyvyn myötä hidastaen happamuuden aiheuttamanlihasväsymyksen syntymistä. Building upon the first report of a 3-acetaminopyridine-based iodine(I) complex (1b) and its unexpected reactivity toward tBuOMe, several new 3-substituted iodine(I) complexes (2b–5b) have been synthesized. Expressive language delay is one of the most frequent concerns for parents and health care providers, and it is also one of the most common reasons that young children are referred for evaluation. In the present study, it was examined whether late-talkers with and without familial risk for dyslexia have weaker reading fluency and comprehension at school age (grades 2, 3, 8 and 9) than typically developing, agematched children. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tarkastella refleksiivisen modernin tuottamia elämänmuutostilanteita biografisen oppimisen mahdollisuuksina. Lähestymistavan perustana oli ajatus modernin laaja-alaisesta murroksesta refleksiiviseksi, notkeaksi tai toiseksi moderniksi, mikä yksilön tasolla näkyi myös oppimiseen liittyvänä muutoksena. Yhteiskunnan rakenteiden ja instituutioiden tasolla murros tuotti yksilölle rajuja elämänmuutoksia, epävarmuutta ja ennakoimattomuutta, jotka pakottivat yksilön sopeutumaan jatkuvaan muutokseen.
