Neurofibroma plexiforme en mucosa yugal: presentación de un caso clínico

Presentamos un caso clínico de neurofibroma plexiforme localizado en región geniana, a nivel submucoso. Su interés radica en que, a pesar de ser el tumor de origen neurógeno más frecuente, es una entidad poco habitual y que rara vez se localiza a nivel intraoral. Por otra parte, la variedad plexiforme es todavía menos frecuente. Desde el punto de vista clínico, se manifiestan como lesiones anodinas, con escasa sintomatología, que cuando aparece es derivada de la compresión nerviosa. En nuestro caso el tumor era asintomático salvo por el tamaño. Radiológicamente no existe una imagen definitiva. Tiene relación con determinados síndromes poliglandulares y facomatosis. Nurses' social representations of hospital hygiene were analyzed. A cross-sectional method was used to compare and analyze the social representations of the concept domain of "hospital hygiene" across three independent groups of participants (N=744). The groups included: (a) professional nurses (N=114); (b) student nurses (N=315); and (c) psychology students (N=315). Comparisons were drawn: (a) between professionals and students; and (b) between student nurse cohorts at three different levels (years) of training. Background: Stent Encrustation is an uncommon event (13%) with a significant impact in patients' management. Aim of our study was to evaluate the available grading systems for encrusted stents. Methods: A retrospective analysis of encrusted stents was performed in four Italian centers between 2006 and 2020. Encrusted stents were classified according to four classifications: the Forgotten Encrusted Calcificated (FECal) score, the Kidney Ureter Bladder (KUB) score, the Visual Grading for Ureteral Encrusted Stent Classification and the Encrustation Burden Score (EBS).
