Introduction: The Abdominal Compartment Syndrome (ACS) is a “condition in which increased tissue pressure in a confined anatomic space, causes decreased blood flow leading to ischaemia and dysfunction and may lead to permanent impairment of function” Materials and Methods: between june 2007 and june 2008 we treated surgically 23 cases of AAA (14 in election and 9 in emergency), with indirect intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) monitoring (intra-vescical catheter). Background: The aim of this study is to verify the effects of the combined and classic training of different isometric rates of force development (RFD) parameters of legs. Materials and Methods: Three groups of female athletes was tested: Experimental group (N = 12), classically trained group (N = 11), and control group (N = 20) of athletes. The isometric "standing leg extension" and "Rise on Toes" tests were conducted to evaluate the maximal force, time necessary time to reach it and the RFD analyzed at 100 ms, 180 ms, 250 ms from the onset, and 50-100% of its maximal result. A strategic approach for the discounted Shapley values

The family of discounted Shapley values is analyzed for cooperative games in coalitional form. We consider the bargaining protocol of the alternating random proposer introduced in Hart and Mas-Colell (Econometrica 64:357–380, 1996). We demonstrate that the discounted Shapley values arise as the expected payoffs associated with the bargaining equilibria when a time discount factor is considered. In a second model, we replace the time cost with the probability that the game ends without agreements. This model also implements these values in transferable utility games, moreover, the model implements the \(\alpha \)-consistent values in the nontransferable utility setting.

Abstract A new axiomatic characterization of the two-step Shapley value Kamijo (2009) is presented based on a solidarity principle of the members of any union: when the game changes due to the addition or deletion of players outside the union, all members of the union will share the same gains/losses.

Pro gradu –tutkielmassani tarkastelen villeyden teemaa Charlotte Brontën romaanissa Jane Eyre. Se on siis temaattinen tutkimus, joka keskittyy villeyden teemaan. Tutkimusolettamukseni oli, että teoksen liiallisen mielikuvituksellisina pidetyt piirteet ovat tärkeä osa sen kokonaisuutta, sen villeyden teemaa. Teoreettisena pohjana käytin joitakin feministisen kirjallisuudentutkimuksen tekstejä, sekä narratologian ja jälkiklassisen kertomusteorian parissa sanottua. Citēšanas pārvaldības rīku lietojamība

Pētījuma “Citēšanas pārvaldības rīku lietojamība” mērķis ir noskaidrot, cik lietotājiem draudzīgi ir pieejamie bezmaksas rīki – Mendeley un Zotero, kādi ir plusi un mīnusi, darbojoties ar šiem rīkiem. Pētījums balstīts uz DELOS seminārā Budapeštā izstrādāto “Mijiedarbības trīs komponentu modeli” (The Interaction Triptych Model). Kā datu vākšanas metode izvēlēta verbālais protokols. Rīku aprakstīšanai un novērtēšanai tika veikta kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze. Pētījuma rezultātā apstiprinājās izvirzītā hipotēze, ka Mendeley un Zotero nav lietotājiem draudzīgi rīki, jo rīku ātrākai apgūšanai ir nepieciešama profesionāļu palīdzība.

La ambigua institucionalización de la eutanasia como derecho individual de carácter prestacional. Apunte crítico sobre la lo 3/2021, de 24 de marzo

Se abordan aquí tres aspectos relativos a la Ley española de eutanasia, promulgada el 24 de marzo de 2021, que resultan especialmente problemáticos: la falsa configuración de la eutanasia como un ?derecho subjetivo?, el falso protagonismo de la autonomía del sujeto y la calificación de la eutanasia como ?muerte natural?. Se sostiene la tesis de que la ley solo ha despenalizado el delito eutanásico cuando se realiza de acuerdo con los requisitos legales; de que no existe un derecho a la muerte y por tanto no es la voluntad del solicitante la que determina la prestación eutanásica y las repercusiones que se producirán en diversos ámbitos por la calificación de muerte natural.
