The paper presents the vegetation types with invasive Senecio inaequidens along the road verges in the Opole Silesia. The large population of this South-African species was located in the second half of June 2018 in the green belt (central reservation) along the A4 motorway (motorway section Brzeg – Opole).

The paper presents new sites of interesting synanthropic plants in the Opole Silesia. Three halophilous species,Plantago coronopus L. Spergularia marina (L.) Besser and Cochlearia officinalis L. were found on road verges of motorway A4 within the section Brzeg – Prądy. All species were observed with very large population sizes. They can thrive because of de-icing of the motorway surface with the application of sodium chloride spray.

There is huge scientific interest in the neuropeptide oxytocin (OXT) due to its putative capacity to modulate a wide spectrum of physiological and cognitive processes including motivation, learning, emotion, and the stress response. The present review seeks to increase the understanding of the role of OXT in an individual’s vulnerability or resilience with regard to developing a substance use disorder. It places specific attention on the role of social stress as a risk factor of addiction, and explores the hypothesis that OXT constitutes a homeostatic response to stress that buffers against its negative impact. Mūsdienu vēsture nākotnē būs uzskatāma par ļoti interesantu un sarežģītu periodu - COVID-19 pandēmija, karš Ukrainā. Visas šīs lietas var ietekmēt cilvēka dzīvesspēku, un tikai tuvākie cilvēki var palīdzēt tikt galā ar grūtajiem laikiem. Šī pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot piesaistes romantiskās attiecībās saistību ar dzīvesspēka līmeni vīriešiem un sievietēm un konstatēt vai ir atšķirības piesaistes dimensijās trauksme un izvairīšanās, dzīvesspēka līmenī un tā apakšskalu vērtības sievietēm un vīriešiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 52 sievietes un 50 vīrieši vecumā no 21 līdz 56 gadu vecumam, kuri ir attiecības ne mazāk par gadu. Pētījumā tika izmantotas divas aptaujas - Romantisko attiecību piesais…
