In this study we investigated the salience of the construct of national collective identity and its associations with life satisfaction among adolescents living in transitional societies characterised by relevant change in the last decades. Participants were 1 066 adolescents (M = 15.35 years, SD = 1.35) from South Africa (n = 186) and five Central Eastern European countries, including Albania (n = 209), Bulgaria (n = 146), Czech Republic (n = 306), Kosovo (n = 116), and Romania (n = 103). We wstępnej części artykułu zostaną zaprezentowane kategorie OBCY, INNY oraz SWÓJ w różnych konfiguracjach (opozycja komplementarna, triada), obecnych w dyskursie tożsamościowym. Następnie przedstawione zostaną determinanty tożsamości: konfesja i język grupy mieszkańców Zelowa – potomków czeskich emigrantów religijnych. W końcowej części artykułu podkreśla się, że obraz potomków czeskich emigrantów jest zmienny w czasie: początkowo była to grupa homogeniczna pod względem wyznaniowym, etnicznym i językowym, a obecnie jest grupą zasymilowaną językowo i kulturowo.

As the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) celebrates its thirtieth anniversary, it is relevant to explore how understandings of children’s rights have appeared during these three decades. As a key public actor in society, the media provides an interesting field in which to study the salience of children’s rights in societal and public discussions. Thus, in this article, we examine how children’s views are represented in «Helsingin Sanomat», the main national newspaper of Finland, in 1997, 2007, and 2017. Kvalifikācijas darba mērķis ir izstrādāt pakalpojumu pieprasījumu informācijas sistēmu onkoloģisko pacientu atbalsta biedrības darbinieku ikdienas darba atvieglošanai. Tā ir paredzēta klientu reģistrēšanai noteiktiem pakalpojumiem, iesniedzot anketu, kā arī veidojot atbalsta grupas. Darbs tika izstrādāts, izmantojot ASP.NET MVC Core 2.2 arhitektūru, ar C#, HTML, CSS un JavaScript programmēšanas valodām.

Pašreiz PFS lieto divi pensiju fondi Latvijā. Bakalaura darba izstrādes laikā autors ir projekta dalībnieks PFS ieviešanai trešajam pensiju fondam Latvijā.

Unraveling the literature chaos around free ammonia inhibition in anaerobic digestion

International audience; This review aims at providing a unified methodology for free ammonia nitrogen (FAN) calculation in anaerobic digesters, also identifying the factors causing the huge disparity in FAN inhibitory limits. Results show that assuming ideal equilibria overestimates the FAN concentrations up to 37% when compared to MINTEQA2 Equilibrium Speciation Model, used as reference. The Davies equation led to major improvements. Measuring the concentrations of NH 4 þ , Na þ and K þ was enough to achieve major corrections. The best compromise between complexity and accuracy was achieved with a novel modified Davies equation, with systematic differences in FAN concentrations of 2% when …
