This study draws on the experiential approach and has two main goals: to explore the different dimensions of the museum experience regardless of whether it is mediated by mediation devices (e.g., audio guides, interactive terminals, SmartPhones, tablets, augmented reality), and to identify the impact of such devices on visitors' behavioural intentions. The authors conduct a qualitative and exploratory investigation to address the following questions: Does the development of such devices affect both experience dimensions and the audience's behavioural intentions? Which components of a museum visit are concerned?

The investigation of ultrafast molecular dynamics is of great importance towards the understanding of a variety of natural phenomena in physical and chemical sciences. With the rapid development of femtosecond laser systems and precision detection technologies, it is possible now to visualize and steer the motion of molecules in matter as well as the ultrafast dynamics of electrons and nuclei in molecules on a microscopic timescale. Durante i lavori di restauro dei locali della Certosa destinati a ospitare il Museo erano sta¬ti notati sui manufatti lignei dei segni che potevano attribuirsi alla possibile presenza di insetti xilofagi. Per conto della Soprintendenza per i Beni Ambientali e Architettonici di Milano, nel 1998 sono state fatte delle indagini i cui risultati vengono esposti nella presente relazione.
