Kuljettajien tarkkaamattomuus on maailmanlaajuinen ilmiö. Tarkkaamattomuuden vaikutuksia liikenneturvallisuuteen on tutkittu ilmiön yleisyyden takia viime aikoina paljon. Useiden tutkimuksien mukaan kuljettajan tarkkaamattomuus on merkittävä tekijä auto-onnettomuuksissa. Usein kuljettajan tarkkaamattomuus johtuu toissijaisesta tehtävästä – esimerkiksi viestin kirjoittamisesta tai osoitteen etsimisestä – ajon aikana. Ajokyvyn arviointi MoCA-menetelmällä Alzheimerin taudin varhaisvaiheessa

Vertaisarvioitu Lähtökohdat Tutkimme Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) -menetelmän soveltuvuutta varhaista Alzheimerin tautia sairastavien potilaiden ajokyvyn arviointiin. Selvitimme myös menetelmän herkkyyttä tunnistaa kognitiomuutoksia. Menetelmät Tutkimus sisälsi haastattelun, kognitiivisen arvioinnin (MoCA), ajon simulaattorilla ja oman ajamisen arvioinnin. Siihen osallistui 7 potilasta ja 17 tervettä ikätoveria. Tulokset Potilaat suoriutuivat verrokkeja heikommin MoCA-testissä ja simulaattoriajossa. Dance is a fundamentally social activity. Studies have begun to examine the role of movement in music for conveying emotional states, potentially revealing a useful mechanism for the communication of emotions, while other studies have found that joint synchrony increases interpersonal affiliation. However, music and movement studies have focused on individuals and comparatively few studies have involved multiple simultaneous participants. The aim of the proposed research is to examine the importance of synchrony in a dance setting for building interpersonal affiliation. Abstract Coworking spaces have been established in great numbers around the globe over the past 10 years. Previous studies on coworking spaces argue that these spaces are designed to enable serendipitous encounters. Here we introduce the concept of an economy of encounters, arguing that both intended and unintended encounters have become a form of production in the knowledge-based new economy.
