Abstract Cultural foundations, beliefs and associated ritual practices delimit the relation to and the representation and lived experience of the body in specific ways. Language is the means through which the cultural specificity of both individual and shared mental content can be explored and worked with in therapy. This article presents beliefs about the body in a patient’s religion of origin and takes up the question of the role of the cultural dimension in psychosomatic phenomena. A case report gives indications of a novel therapeutic approach to this theme and highlights the intrinsic connection between cultural belonging and embodiment. Resumo:O objetivo deste estudo é a exposição da filosofia da linguagem que Nietzsche apresenta em suas primeiras obras, sobretudo em seu decisivo escrito póstumo de 1873. São considerados três aspectos da trajetória de Nietzsche. Seu interesse pela linguagem poética e musical, desde a juventude; sua formação em filologia clássica; suas investigações filosóficas sobre o tema. “Um Absurdo Audacioso” Intuição e conceito na crítica de Schopenhauer a Kant

O presente artigo aborda a crítica de Schopenhauer ao Esquematismo Transcendental de Kant, evidenciando que tal crítica necessita ser compreendida inicialmente como uma modificação no uso dos termos da linguagem kantiana, isto é, considera-se importante não separar a crítica do conteúdo da crítica acerca da terminologia, para que essas inflexões possam ser compreendidas em seu próprio contexto. Com isso, verificamos que todos os conceitos essenciais que Schopenhauer assumiu a partir de Kant tiveram um significado completamente diferente para o filósofo de Frankfurt, o que é justamente o que procuramos evidenciar aqui, elucidando o sentido de parte dessas modificações.
