Familial combined hyperlipidemia (FCHL) is the most frequent genetic hyperlipidemia. FHCL is associated with high prevalence of cardiovascular disease. In this study we selected 208 patients affected by FHCL and evaluated the efficacy of the lipid-lowering statin therapy using different statins available in the market. The results show that the percent of patients reaching the therapeutic goal ranges from 19.7 % (LDL-C <100 mg/dL) to 50.9% (LDL-C <130 mg/dL) and from 16.9 % (non HDL-C <130 mg/dL) to 46.6 % (non HDL-C <160 mg/dL) according to the different ATPIII-NCEP-guidelines cut offs. In conclusion the statin monotherapy is only partly effective in the management of FCHL therapy

The present study was to investigate whether the mRNA levels of the transcription factors, sterol regulatory element-binding protein-2 (SREBP-2), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-δ (PPARδ) as well as slow type myosin heavy chain (MYH7) gene are modulated after exhaustive exercise and if so, whether such alterations are related to the percentage of MHC isoforms. The Reform of Vocational Education and Training in Finland: Insights from Twitter

This paper aims to analyse and describe relationships and communication in Twitter in relation to vocational education and training reform in Finland. Data were collected during the early implementation phase of the reform from January 2018 to early June 2018. The data included 2400 tweets containing the hashtag #amisreformi (VET reform). Social network analysis was utilised to study the network and communities. The main themes of the tweets were analysed using thematic analysis, and automated sentiment analysis was used to examine the tones of the tweets and public opinion. Kuopiossa toimi vuosina 1980-1986 uusekspressionistinen kuvataiteilijaryhmittymä, jolle annettiin mediassa nimitys Kuopion koulu. Väljän ryhmän ydinhenkilöitä olivat Markku Kolehmainen (s. 1951), Pentti Meklin (s. 1952), Pauno Pohjolainen (s. 1949) ja Teemu Saukkonen (s. 1954). Artikkelissani tutkin ja erittelen tapoja, joilla kriitikot ja muut journalistit puhuivat ilmiöstä ajan lehtiartikkeleissa. Lisäksi tutkin yleisönosastokeskustelua, jota käytiin Kuopion kuvataiteilijat ry Ars Liberan ja Kuopion kaupungin julkishallinnon välillä sekä Ars Liberan vanhemman ja nuoremman taiteilijasukupolven välillä. Tutkielmamme aiheena on S2-oppijan mielipidekirjoituksen sujuvuus ja sen arviointi. Sujuvuus, kompleksisuus ja tarkkuus ovat keskeisiä ja laajasti käytettyjä käsitteitä toisen kielen arvioinnissa, mutta niiden määrittely ei ole ollut yksiselitteistä tai ongelmatonta. Toisen kielen oppimisen tutkimuksessa sujuvuus on usein liitetty puheen tuottamisen tai kirjoitusprosessin nopeuteen, mutta valmiin kirjoitetun tuotoksen sujuvuuden tutkimus on ollut vähäistä.
