Kvalifikācijas darbā tika raksturota trīs līdz četru gadu vecu bērnu attīstības īpatnības, analizētas trīs līdz četru gadu vecu bērnu pētnieciskās prasmes sižetu- lomu rotaļās. Kvalifikācijas darbā tika veikts empīriskais pētījums, metodes izvēle - novērošana, pirmsskolas izglītības iestādē “X”, pētījumā piedalījās un tika vēroti pieci bērni, piedalījās arī bērnu vecāki, lai noskaidrotu viņu viedokli, tika veikta anketēšana.

Role of IP3 Receptors in Shaping the Carotid Chemoreceptor Response to Hypoxia But Not to Hypercapnia in the Rat Carotid Body: An Evidence Review

This article addresses the disparity in the transduction pathways for hypoxic and hypercapnic stimuli in carotid body glomus cells. We investigated and reviewed the experimental evidence showing that the response to hypoxia, but not to hypercapnia, is mediated by 1,4,5-inositol triphosphate receptors (IP3R/s) regulating the intracellular calcium content [Ca2+]c in glomus cells. The rationale was based on the past observations that inhibition of oxidative phosphorylation leads to the explicit inhibition of the hypoxic chemoreflex. Summary Neural stem cells (NSCs) exist in germinal centers of the adult brain and in the carotid body (CB), an oxygen-sensing organ that grows under chronic hypoxemia. How stem cell lineage differentiation into mature glomus cells is coupled with changes in physiological demand is poorly understood. Here, we show that hypoxia does not affect CB NSC proliferation directly. Rather, mature glomus cells expressing endothelin-1, the O 2 -sensing elements in the CB that secrete neurotransmitters in response to hypoxia, establish abundant synaptic-like contacts with stem cells, which express endothelin receptors, and instruct their growth. Nanopatterning can be used to strongly control the thermal properties of solids, but theoretical understanding relies often on complex numerical simulations. Here, an analytical theory is derived for the low temperature heat capacity of a nanopatterned phononic crystal plate, focusing on the geometry of a square lattice of cylindrical holes in an isotropic matrix material. Its quasistatic elastic properties were studied using an anisotropic effective medium theory, that is, considering it as a homogenized metasolid. Application of time-dependent many-body perturbation theory to excitation spectra of selected finite model systems

In this thesis, an approximate method introduced to solve time-dependent many-body problems known as time-dependent many-body perturbation theory is studied. Many-body perturbation theory for interacting electrons and phonons is reviewed. In particular, the electron propagator G and an unconventional two-component phonon propagator, which satisfy coupled integral Dyson equations, are introduced. In practice, the associated integral kernels known as the electron Σ and phonon self-energies need to be approximated.
