Pētījuma problēmas būtība un mērķis ir rast skaidrību par to kāds ir klostera institūcijas teoloģiskais pamatojums Latvijas evaņģēliski luteriskajā Baznīcā (LELB). Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka klostera institūcija ir ne tikai teoloģiski, bet arī starpdisciplināri – vēsturiski, psiholoģiski, socioloģiski, kā arī no reliģijpētniecības skatu punkta, pamatojama. Darba tēzes apstiprinājums par to, ka šāda institūcija ir pamatojama attiecīgās Baznīcas praksē un likumdošanā, balstās uz Baznīcai nozīmīgu dokumentu un rakstu studijām, iekļaujot salīdzinošo analīzi ar esošo situāciju LELB periodikas un ziņu portālu atspoguļojumiem un intervijām.

Acid-catalyzed mechanocatalytic pretreatment to improve sugar release from birch sawdust : Structural and chemical aspects

This study examined acid-catalyzed mechanocatalytic pretreatment of birch sawdust without a separate impregnation step. Catalyst amount and pretreatment time were the key variables. Pretreated material was mixed with water for hydrolysis (100 °C, 60 min). The efficient release of total reducing sugars from birch sawdust is significant to the path towards biofuels and biochemicals. Based on the results, the structure and surface of birch sawdust changed as a function of mechanocatalytic pretreatment. Bakalaura darbs "Kolostomas pacientu aprūpe stacionārā" izstrādāts ar mērķi noskaidrot, kā aprūpēt kolostomas pacientus stacionēšanas laikā. Tas balstīts uz Betijas Ņumenas māszinības teoriju. Darbs ir aktuāls, jo Latvijā, kā arī visā pasaulē, ar katru gadu pieaug kolostomas pacientu skaits. Tas ir cieši saistīts ar to, ka pēdejos gados ievērojami ir pagarinājusies vidējā dzīvildze kolostomas pacientiem. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no teorētiskās un praktiskās daļas. Teorētiskajā daļā aprakstīta kolostomas vēsture, kolostomijas veidi, iemesli un komplikācijas, kā arī pacientu aprūpe pēc kolostomijas.
