Tämä tutkimus käsittelee yhteisopetuksen opettajille tarjoamia oppimismahdollisuuksia. Tutkimuskysymyksemme on: Mitä opettajat kokivat oppineensa yhteisopetuksen aikana? Opettajat kokevat oppilaiden yksilöllisten tarpeiden huomioonottamisen suurissa opetusryhmissä yhä haastavammaksi, mikä lisää opettajan työn kuormittavuutta. Tämän myötä opettajat ovat yhä kiinnostuneempia vertaistuesta ja opettajien välisen yhteistyön kehittämisestä. Yhteisopetus voi olla vastaus myös erityisopetusta koskeviin lakimuu-toksiin sekä inkluusion tavoitteeseen, jonka mukaan kaikkien oppilaiden tulisi saada opiskella samassa luokassa. Prokaryotic biosphere is vastly diverse in many respects. Any given bacterial cell may harbor in different combinations viruses, plasmids, transposons, and other genetic elements along with their chromosome(s). These agents interact in complex environments in various ways causing multitude of phenotypic effects on their hosting cells. In this discussion I perform a dissection for a bacterial cell in order to simplify the diversity into components that may help approach the ocean of details in evolving microbial worlds. Abstract Weight‐bearing physical activity may decrease or prevent bone deterioration after hip fracture. This study investigated the effects of a home‐based physical rehabilitation program on tibial bone traits in older hip fracture patients. A population‐based clinical sample of men and women operated for hip fracture (mean age 80 years, 78% women) was randomly assigned into an intervention (n = 40) and a standard care control group (n = 41) on average 10 weeks postfracture. Handling expensive multiobjective optimization problems with evolutionary algorithms

Multiobjective optimization problems (MOPs) with a large number of conflicting objectives are often encountered in industry. Moreover, these problem typically involve expensive evaluations (e.g. time consuming simulations or costly experiments), which pose an extra challenge in solving them. In this thesis, we first present a survey of different methods proposed in the literature to handle MOPs with expensive evaluations. We observed that most of the existing methods cannot be easily applied to problems with more than three objectives. In offline data-driven multiobjective optimization, no new data is available during the optimization process. Approximation models, also known as surrogates, are built using the provided offline data. A multiobjective evolutionary algorithm can be utilized to find solutions by using these surrogates. In 1949, Simone de Beauvoir cited the fairly unknown author Poulain de la Barre in an epigraph for The Second Sex (1949). When reading The Second Sex, one soon realizes that there are profound similarities between the two authors’ discussions of women’s situation. Both Poulain and Beauvoir view the subjection of women as a process that includes choice as well as force. Liberation necessarily requires overcoming opinions rooted in custom and prejudice. The article develops a comparison between the arguments of Poulain and Beauvoir in order to illuminate interesting features in the works of both authors. Using Winnicott’s theory, this article produces an account of the individual’s relation to a given conceptual framework. Whereas Winnicott’s ideas have been almost exclusively discussed in developmental and psychopathological contexts, the present article extends Winnicott’s theory and applies it to the problem of interpersonal understanding. Taking a lead from one of Winnicott’s letters to Klein, the article investigates the problem of expressing one’s idiosyncratic insights in the confines of a given conceptual framework. Superconductive and insulating inclusions for linear and non-linear conductivity equations

We detect an inclusion with infinite conductivity from boundary measurements represented by the Dirichlet-to-Neumann map for the conductivity equation. We use both the enclosure method and the probe method. We use the enclosure method to prove partial results when the underlying equation is the quasilinear $p$-Laplace equation. Further, we rigorously treat the forward problem for the partial differential equation $\operatorname{div}(\sigma\lvert\nabla u\rvert^{p-2}\nabla u)=0$ where the measurable conductivity $\sigma\colon\Omega\to[0,\infty]$ is zero or infinity in large sets and $1<p<\infty$.
Evolutionary plasticity of SH3 domain binding by Nef proteins of the HIV-1/SIVcpz lentiviral lineage

The accessory protein Nef of human and simian immunodeficiency viruses (HIV and SIV) is an important pathogenicity factor known to interact with cellular protein kinases and other signaling proteins. A canonical SH3 domain binding motif in Nef is required for most of these interactions. For example, HIV-1 Nef activates the tyrosine kinase Hck by tightly binding to its SH3 domain. An archetypal contact between a negatively charged SH3 residue and a highly conserved arginine in Nef (Arg77) plays a key role here.
