Dog blogs as ventriloquism: Authentication of the human voice

This paper looks at personal blogging by dog owners in an international, English language blogsite in which dog owners from around the world report and reflect upon their dogs and their lives with dogs, and do so by using the dog׳s voice. Los mecanismos de estrés oxidativo están implicados en numerosas condiciones patológicas, entre ellas el inicio, la promoción y la progresión del proceso de carcinogénesis. Latviešu valodas morfosintaktiskais marķētājs

Bakalaura darbā aprakstīta morfoloģiskā marķētāja, kas izmanto vairāku klašu vidējo perceptrona mašīnmācīšanās algoritmu, izstrāde latviešu valodai. Darbā izstrādātajam marķētājam ir augsta precizitāte (95,20% un 94,32% - mērīta uz diviem dažādiem korpusiem), kas atbilst labākajiem rezultātiem pasaulē morfoloģiski sarežģītām valodām. Marķētājs salīdzināts ar diviem marķētājiem latviešu valodai, un tam ir labāka precizitāte nekā marķētājam, kas izmanto maksimālās entropijas modeli (94,83% un 91,51%), un nedaudz labāka precizitāte (93,67% un 93,6%) par marķētāju, kas izmanto nosacījumu Markova modeli.

Shallow landslide and debris flows are among the most dangerous natural hazards triggered by extreme meteorological events. These phenomena have recently caused catastrophic scenarios in Italy (e.g. in Sarno-Quindici and Giampilieri) and, according to expected changes in the climate pattern, an increasing frequency of these phenomena is expected. The Scopello area, which is located along the north-western Tyrrhenian coastal sector of the Sicilian chain (Italy), is widely affected by Deep-seated Gravitational Slope Deformation (DGSD) phenomena, which are mainly the result of a geomorphologic setting marked by the outcropping of an overthrust plan, limiting a brittle fractured carbonate slab, laid onto a ductile marly-clayey substratum.
