Direct preparation of alkylated amide‐derivatives by cross‐coupling chemistry using sustainable protocols is challenging due to sensitivity of the amide functional group to reaction conditions. Herein, we report the synthesis of alkyl‐substituted amides by iron‐catalyzed C(sp2)−C(sp3) cross‐coupling of Grignard reagents with aryl chlorides. The products of these reactions are broadly used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and other biologically‐active molecules. Furthermore, amides are used as versatile intermediates that can participate in the synthesis of valuable ketones and amines, providing access to motifs of broad synthetic interest. Aryl tosylates are an attractive class of electrophiles for cross‐coupling reactions due to ease of synthesis, low price, and the employment of C−O electrophiles, however, the reactivity of aryl tosylates is low. Herein, we report the Ni‐catalyzed C(sp2)−C(sp3) Kumada cross‐coupling of aryl tosylates with primary and secondary alkyl Grignard reagents. The method delivers valuable alkyl arenes by cross‐coupling with challenging alkyl organometallics possessing β‐hydrogens that are prone to β‐hydride elimination and homo‐coupling. Stereoselective Synthesis of (+)-Boronolide

The delta-lactone boronolide (+)-1, a pharmacologically active, naturally occurring product, has been synthesized in enantiopure form with L-erythrulose as the chiral starting material. The key steps of the synthesis were a highly stereoselective aldol-reduction one-pot sequence, an indium-mediated diastereoselective aldehyde allylation, and a ring-closing metathesis.
Managing for results in Primary Education in Madagascar

The impact of specific actions designed to streamline and tighten the workflow processes of key actors in Madagascar's primary education sector are evaluated. To inform the strategy for scaling up, a randomized experiment was carried out over two school years. The results show that interventions at the school level, reinforced by interventions at the subdistrict and district levels, succeeded in changing the behavior of the actors toward better management of key pedagogical functions. In terms of education outcomes, the interventions improved school attendance, reduced grade repetition, and raised test scores (particularly in Malagasy and mathematics), although the gains in learning at the …

More precisely, it deals with the process that, from art. 10, paragraph 2 of the “Villa Madama Agreements”, has led, thanks to the Lisbon Convention and the so-called “Bologna Process”, to the agreement of February 13, 2019.

Ciò trova riscontro non solo nei modelli imposti dagli schermi televisivi, ma anche dalla maggiore attenzione che le donne prestano al proprio corpo, ricorrendo sempre più spesso alla chirurgia estetica.
