Pamatojoties uz mūsdienu pētījumiem dzimumu studiju jomā, autors veic sieviešu attēlu salīdzinošu analīzi, identificē galvenās sieviešu reprezentācijas, ko iesnieguši mūsdienu autori. Īpaša uzmanība tiek pievērsta autoru "vīriešu" un "sieviešu" uzskatiem par tradicionālo Madonnas tēlu (sievieti-sievu un sievieti-māti). The «Elegia di madonna Fiammetta» has an evident impact of the story of Leandre and Hero, especially in the moments in which the lady suffers while waiting for her lover, who never comes. Fiammetta makes obvious this parallelism on several occasions, and manages to invent an end for the story loaded of pathos. Joan Roís de Corella realises about this relationship between both two works and makes the inverse path: he uses the tone and some narrative elements of the Elegia for writing his Leander and Hero. It is demonstrated that the so contreversial end of Corella’s story is not original of the Valencian, but it also depends on Boccaccio’s text

We present a modelling environment based on the use of iconic representations consisting of elements, as containers and connected flows, able to describe the relationships between relevant variables of dynamic systems. The procedures involved are aimed to make students aware of the reasoning processes to describe, formalise and explain complex system behaviours. Moreover, we show how these strategies may allow the overcoming of some well-known difficulties involved in pupil understanding of mathematical formalisms, such as derivatives and differential equations and their real meaning.
