Korelācija starp obstruktīvās miega apnojas sindromu un centrālās tīklenes vaskulārajām un dzīslenes izmaiņām

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 38 lapaspusēm, satur 11 attēlus, 2 tabulas, 1 grafiku un 107 literatūras avotus. Darba mērķis: Novērtēt obstruktīvās miega apnojas sindroma saistību ar izmaiņām makulas asinsvadu blīvumā. Dalībnieki: Pētījumā piedalījās 39 dalībnieki vecumā no 35 līdz 65 gadiem. Metode: Dalībniekiem novēŗtēts asinsvadu blīvums makulas piecos apgabalos un divos slāņos ar optiskās kohorences tomogrāfijas angiogrāfifju. Rezultāti: Netika atrasta statistiski nozīmiga makulas asinsvadu blīvuma izmaiņa obstruktīvāš miega apnojas sindroma grupai salīdzinājumā ar kontroles grupu. Teachers' self-efficacy and the sources of efficacy: A cross-cultural investigation in Japan and Finland

The study explores the extent and sources of Teachers’ Self-Efficacy (TSE) for inclusive practices among 261 Japanese and 1123 Finnish teachers. Measurement invariance was tested to ensure the chosen scales’ cross-cultural validity. In both countries, mastery experience was identified as the strongest of the four sources contributing uniquely to TSE. However, the two groups differed in how verbal persuasion predicted TSE. The findings indicate that the effects of the four sources on TSE depend strongly on sociocultural context, and that, in Japan, other sources may exert a powerful influence. Tutkimuksen aiheena on Tove Janssonin Juhlat maalla ja Juhlat kaupungissa -freskot, joita analysoitiin käyttämällä ikonologista ja narratiivista analyysimenetelmää. Menetelmien avulla freskoista löydettiin Tove Janssonin kokemusmaailmaan viittaavia omakuvallisia piirteitä. Tulosten perusteella teoksia ei voida mieltää täysin omakuvallisiksi teoksiksi, vaan niissä on nähtävissä myös taiteilijan rakkaudenosoitus rakastetulleen.
The role of mothers' beliefs in students' self-concept of ability development

The aim of this study was to investigate whether the child-related competence beliefs of mothers are associated with the development of Finnish adolescents' self-concept of mathematics and literacy ability during their transition from primary to lower secondary school and whether these associations depend on adolescents' level of performance. The results showed that, first, adolescents' self-concept of mathematics and literacy ability decreased over time. The impact of maternal beliefs on the linear trend of the self-concept of mathematics and literacy ability was dependent on the level of students' performance.
