De la necesidad de diseñar pruebas optométricas adaptadas para el seguimiento visual en patologías

Objetivo Valorar si las pruebas convencionales de análisis de la visión del color son válidas en pacientes con ataxia telangiectasia (AT). Metodología Se evaluó la visión cromática en el ojo dominante de 6 pacientes con AT, y de 10 pacientes de grupo control. En todos ellos se usó para ello el test de Farnsworth-Munsell de 100 tonos. Se analizaron los parámetros TES y PTES, así como el tiempo necesario empleado para realizar las pruebas. En tres pacientes con AT se midieron ambos ojos para valorar los efectos de aprendizaje y fatiga. Inflammation is part of a complex biological response of vascular tissue to pathogens or damaged cells. First inflammatory cells attempt to remove the injurious stimuli and this is followed by a healing process mediated principally by phagocytosis of senescent cells. Hypoxia and p38-MAPK are associated with inflammation, and hypoxia inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) has been detected in inflamed tissues. Introducción: las conjuntivitis epidémicas presentan alto riesgo de contagio. Pueden tener etiología laboral. Objetivos: conocer datos epidemiológicos y cuantificar costes económicos; aportar información sobre manejo y catalogación. Material / Métodos: estudio descriptivo-retrospectivo de una serie de casos (contingencias profesionales) por conjuntivitis epidémica (CIE-9) durante 2014-2015 en FREMAP, que generaron procesos de incapacidad temporal. Resultados: sobre el total de patologías oftalmológicas laborales con baja, representaron el 1,6%. Mujeres 75%, sector servicios y 39 años de media. Bilateral 73% de los casos. Oxidative stress has been proposed as a major mechanism of damage to motor neurons associated with the progression of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Astrocytes are the most numerous glial cells in the central nervous system and, under physiological conditions, protect neurons from oxidative damage. However, it is uncertain how their reactive phenotype may affect motor neurons during ALS progression.
