Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate viability and integrity of cells (Osteoblasts and Osteocytes) present in the particulate bone (Bone Chips), obtained during the preparation of the implant site. Dental plaque is the initiator of periodontal disease, but disease severity and response to treatment are determined predominantly by host-based risk factors.
