The library of the Societat Castellonenca de Cultura (Castello de la Plana) keeps a Catalan manuscript on menescalia (veterinary medicine) virtually unknown to the specialists. Here we provide a diplomatic description, a presentation of its content, and particularly a first linguistic analysis. Our study allows us to locate its elaboration in the mid-14th century within the area of Morella, and to attribute it to a paraire or to a merchant. The manuscript is currently in the process of being edited.

The study of archival collections from medieval religious orders has made it possible to locate a second fragment of a medieval Spanish Bible, from the Hieronymian monastery of Santa Maria de la Sisla (Toledo). It is a bifolia from the book of Psalms that belonged to the same codex as the recently identified Ezekiel fragment (=S1). In this article the finding is reported, the liber tradens is described, specifying its meaning and value to ensure monastery rents, the fragments that it transmits are given: part of a bifolia in parchment of the s. Abstract The term ‘crisis’ is omnipresent. The current corona virus pandemic is perceived as the most recent example. However, the notion of crisis is increasingly deployed as a signifier of relevance, rather than as an analytical concept. Moreover, human geography has so far little contributed to the interdisciplinary crisis research field which is fixated on the temporal aspects of crisis but neglects its spatiality.
