In this essay we address one of the most important poetic subgenres in the tradition of Carmelite women: the works composed for ceremonies of vestition and solemn profession in which the nuns left behind his mundane life and opened a new life as the wife of Jesus. First of all, we provide a general overview of the customs and functions of the poetry in the Discalced Carmelites, which has been already analysed in the context of the Hispanic literature, but rarely from the perspective of the Catalan area. Il s’agit de présenter un bref catalogue de manuscrits de maqāmāt yéménites, consultés dans le cadre d’une recherche doctorale sur l’essor du genre maqāma au Yémen. Ce deuxième volet présente les manuscrits conservés dans les bibliothèques privées de l’historien Muḥammad Zabāra et du lettré ‘Abd al-Raḥmān Qādī, à Sanaa, ainsi que ceux de la Bibliothèque Apostolique Vaticane. The study of archival collections from medieval religious orders has made it possible to locate a second fragment of a medieval Spanish Bible, from the Hieronymian monastery of Santa Maria de la Sisla (Toledo). It is a bifolia from the book of Psalms that belonged to the same codex as the recently identified Ezekiel fragment (=S1). In this article the finding is reported, the liber tradens is described, specifying its meaning and value to ensure monastery rents, the fragments that it transmits are given: part of a bifolia in parchment of the s.
