This essay focuses on the various forms of narrating, mediating, and interpreting selves within and around a book object, the novel S. (2013) by J. J. Abrams and Doug Dorst. The novel S. is an experiment in producing a deceivingly realistic replica of a maltreated library book object, but its discursive practices also rely on familiar literary forms, harking back to epistolary commonplaces, as well as to marginalia, both ancient and modern. The book object S., which carries the text of the novel-within-a-novel, the readers' multilayered markings, and paraphernalia, forms an archive dramatizing the workings of memory, thought, and emotion. The aim of this thesis is to compare personal blogs and theatre art. The study is conducted as theoretical discourse and focuses on comparison of personal blogs with a subgenre of theatre art, performance art. Using actual selected examples from theatre art as well as from personal blogs, the study aims to outline the similarities, which personal blogs share with theatre performance. The theoretical framework of the thesis suggests that personal blogs with their nature of the observed subject, the blogger, and the observer, the reader, produce one of the basic elements of theatre art, theatricality. Vuonna 2001 julkaistun kielten yleiseurooppalaisen viitekehyksen (EVK) merkitys on ollut käänteentekevä kielten opetuksen kehittämiselle niin kansainvälisesti kuin Suomessakin. Euroopan neuvosto julkaisi keväällä 2018 EVK:n täydennysosan (Companion Volume, Euroopan neuvosto 2018). Viitekehystä täydennettiin tuomaan kielten opetus ja oppiminen ajan tasalle tilanteessa, jossa muuttoliike kiihtyy, asenneilmapiiri kovenee ja eriarvoisuus lisääntyy sosiaaliryhmien välillä.
