Albanian emigration was a historic phenomenon which extended over a long period, and of which different countries of the inter-Adriatic area were the final destination. Besides different regions in present-day Italy, Istria as well constituted a destination. The Albanians arrived there at the end of the 15th century. According to documents from archives, the Istrian settlement displays the connotations of similar migrations – though the latter were much more complex – across the Italian peninsula. Documents reflect the common organisational skills of various groups of migrants.

By means of this work, we try to analyze how onerous were for the royal town's treasury the expenses derived from their attendance to Assemblies. For this, we are taking, as an example, the royal town of Alcoy in the <i>Cortes</i> of 1443. We have based our study in the <i>Proceso de Cortes</i> and in municipal sources.<br><br>Mediante este trabajo, pretendemos analizar el peso que tenían en la hacienda de las villas reales los gastos derivados de su asistencia a Cortes. Para ello tomaremos como ejemplo la villa de Alcoy en las Cortes de 1443-1446, basando nuestro análisis en el Proceso de Cortes y en fuentes municipales.

The area round València and all the land of the Mediterranean side of the península were then subject to pirate pressure. This article offers a full updating of the biographical records of the writer Joan Roís de Corella (1435-1497) and his family: his great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, siblings and children. All data are presented in a systematic way, generation by generation, and a new vision of the writer himself is offered. In its documentary section, 432 documents are transcribed or summarised, dating from 1373 to 1516. A broad range of new archival data is presented; other previously known data are corrected or improved.
