Zemes lietojuma veida izmaiņas Preiļu novada purvu teritorijās pēdējo 80 gadu laikā

Bakalaura darbs veltīts zemes lietojuma izmaiņām Preiļu novadā esošo purvu teritorijās pēdējo 80 gadu laikā. Latvijas Kūdras Fondā reģistrētas 22 kūdras atradnes 12 598 ha platībā, kas atrodas mūsdienu Preiļu novada teritorijā. Izstrādājot bakalaura darbu aspekotas 11 kūdras atradņu veitas un arī lielākās purvainās platības, kas nav iekļautas Kūdras Fondā. Bakalaura darba mērķis: ir aspekot Preiļu novadā esošo purvu un kūdras atradņu teritorijas, un raksturot zemes lietojuma veidu izmaiņas pēdējo 80 gadu laikā un to galvenos ietekmējošos faktorus. Bakalaura darbā „Zemo purvu sastopamības un apsaimniekošanas izmaiņas pēdējo 100 gadu laikā Upmales paugurlīdzenumā” tiek pētītas teritorijā esošo zemo purvu kopplatības un apsaimniekošanas izmaiņas, kas pārsvarā radušās 20. gs. lauksaimnieciskās darbības pieauguma dēļ, rezultējoties ar purvu degradāciju. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot zemo purvu sastopamību Upmales paugurlīdzenumā mūsdienās un antropogēnās darbības ietekmi uz kūdru raksturojošiem parametriem. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 3 daļām.
