Jump tests assess lower body power production capacity, and can be used to evaluate athletic ability and development during growth. Wearable inertial measurement units (IMU) seem to offer a feasible alternative to laboratory‐based equipment for jump height assessments. Concurrent validity of these devices for jump height assessments has only been established in adults. In realtà qualsiasi attività di ricerca abbia bisogno del supporto di una qualche documentazione, prodotta sia da istituzioni pubbliche che da soggetti privati, si trova a dovere utilizzare materiali spesso custoditi in archivi, di qualsiasi natura essi siano, a secondo del tipo di materiale documentario necessario. Measuring something that cannot be grasped – Reflections about Methodology in Elicitation of Spoken Competence

The focus of this article is on reflections about methodology and the methodical choices in empirical research into the role of consciousness in the acquisition of spoken competence in German as second or third foreign language. Seeing language as a complex, dynamic system, I want to show how learning fluctuates. I would like to demonstrate that there is a continuous fluctuation between nonlinearity and stability which depends on particular driving forces. These forces have to be captured by methods whose aim is to increase the certainty of data. These reflections were proved by a case that wants to demonstrate how a multi-methodical approach works in this direction.

Las aulas de comunicación y lenguaje son unidades de educación especial en centros ordinarios que atienden al alumnado con un Trastorno Mixto del Lenguaje Receptivo-Expresivo o con Trastornos Generalizados del Desarrollo. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el funcionamiento de un aula CYL de un colegio público de educación infantil y primaria situado en Valencia, a través de la observación, el análisis documental y las entrevistas a los profesionales; asimismo si las aulas CYL son un instrumento que favorece la inclusión educativa de este alumnado en los centros ordinarios.
Multiverse Ethnography: A Qualitative Method for Gaming and Technology Use Research

This article introduces multiverse ethnography as a systematic team-based qualitative method for studying the mechanical, structural and experiential properties of video games and other technological artefacts. Instead of applying the ethnographic method to produce a single in-depth account, multiverse ethnography includes multiple researchers carrying out coordinated synergetic ethnographic work on the same research object, thus producing a multiverse of interpretations and perspectives. Capturing methodological trends in mobile communication studies

This study investigates methodological trends in mobile communication studies. The articles published over the past 20 years in five journals (Communication Research, Journal of Communication, Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, New Media & Society, and Information, Communication & Society) are analysed. The results show that the quantitative and qualitative studies have increased while theoretical accounts have remained few. The quantitative approach is the most applied. Parliamentary sources in the comparative study of conceptual history: methodological aspects and illustrations of a research proposal

Summary: This article proposes that historians and political theorists should exploit parliamentary sources to move from the writing of national histories to the comparative study of the conceptual history of European political cultures. Complementing the German lexicographical approach to conceptual history, the authors argue that parliamentary debates in several European countries provide more reliable sources for the past use of the language of politics.
