Graffiti and Street Art Research : An Outsider Perspective

In this paper we discuss our endeavours and experiences in the field of graffiti and street art research (GSAR) in the form of a dialogue. We reflect on planning and engaging with GSAR, contemplate our (field) work, analyse the methods we have developed, and shed light on the possibilities that arose during research processes. In particular, we focus on what it is like to do GSAR as outsiders, i.e. as those who are not writers or artists themselves, or who do research into a graffiti or street art scene that is foreign to them. peerReviewed

Artykuł stanowi próbę, zawartą w formie impresyjno-intelektualnych notatek, opisania kondycji dzisiejszego pisania o polskiej literaturze najnowszej. Autor śledzi proces stopniowego osłabiania i despecyfikacji metod oraz języka współczesnej krytyki literackiej. Specjalną część rozważań wypełnia przegląd stanowisk krytyków reprezentujących różne opcje metodologiczne i światopoglądowe, a także badaczy polskiego dyskursu krytycznoliterackiego oraz dyskusja nad głośnym postulatem „prywatyzacji” krytyki literackiej.

The Work of Hermeneutic Phenomenology

This paper is an illustration of the application of a hermeneutic phenomenological study. The theory of meaning and interpretation, drawing on philosophical hermeneutics and the work of Gadamer and Heidegger, and its alignment with phenomenological thought is presented. The paper explains and aims to make visible how key concerns in relation to the fusion of horizons, hermeneutic understanding, hermeneutic circle and hermeneutic phenomenological attitude were implemented. Taloustiede episteemisenä yhteisönä ja kamppailu asiantuntijuudesta

Artikkelissa tutkitaan taloustiedettä episteemisenä yhteisönä ja tämän episteemisen yhteisön käyttämiä retorisia keinoja rajojensa puolustamiseen. Episteemisen yhteisön teoria korostaa jaettuja metodologisia lähtökohtia ja arvolähtökohtia yhteisöjen koossapitävinä voimina, minkä lisäksi taloustiede on havaittu tutkimuksessa erityisen metodologisesti eristäytyneeksi. Artikkelissa eritellään taloustieteilijöiden episteemisen yhteisön suomalaisessa julkisuudessa käyttämiä retorisia strategioita sosiaalisesta mediasta kerätyn aineiston avulla. Aineistosta erottuvat strategiat ovat epäsymmetrinen näytön vaatiminen, auktoriteetin kieltäminen ja kaksoisstandardi.

Artykuł jest poświęcony prawniczej dyscyplinie in statu nascendi, jaką jest prawo turystyczne. Nie jest to próba kompleksowego omówienia problematyki metodologicznej i pozametodologicznej prawa turystycznego, lecz jedynie zwrócenie uwagi na niektóre z ujawnianych w dyskusji nad statusem prawa turystycznego problemów.
