Zirgkastaņu raibkode Cameraria ohridella (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae) ir invazīva suga, kas izraisa lapotnes defoliāciju parastā zirgkastaņa Aesculus hippocastanum kokiem. Pētījuma mērķis bija apskatīt zirgkastaņu raibkodes populācijas dinamikas attīstību ietekmējošos rādītājus un identificēt raibkodes parazitoīdu sugu kompleksu. Jelgavas pilsētā 2014. gada veģetācijas periodā tika veikta raibkodes radīto lapu bojājumu novērtēšana. Se ha desarrollado un método de obtención de exosomas, a partir de cultivos de levaduras del género Candida, que ha permitido obtener microvesículas de elevada homogeneidad y pureza. Mediante microscopía electrónica de transmisión y técnicas de detección de nanopartículas (NTA), se ha podido constatar la presencia de microvesículas de tamaños comprendidos entre 100 y 200 nm. Selective writing and read-out of a register of static qubits

We propose a setup comprising an arbitrarily large array of static qubits (SQs), which interact with a flying qubit (FQ). The SQs work as a quantum register, which can be written or read-out by means of the FQ through quantum state transfer (QST). The entire system, including the FQ's motional degrees of freedom, behaves quantum mechanically. We demonstrate a strategy allowing for selective QST between the FQ and a single SQ chosen from the register. This is achieved through a perfect mirror located beyond the SQs and suitable modulation of the inter-SQ distances.

Eiropas platauša (Barbastella barbastellus Schreber, 1774) biotopu un vasaras mītņu izvēle boreālos mežos Latvijā

Latvija uzskatāma par Eiropas platauša (Barbastellus barbastellus) izplatības areāla ziemeļu robežu, tāpēc šeit tiem pieejamie biotopi atšķiras. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādus biotopus un vasaras mītnes šie sikspārņi izvēlas boreālajos mežos Latvijā. Lai to noskaidrotu, tika veikta radiotelemetrija, sikspārņu pārlidojumu saucienu reģistrēšana un atmirušās koksnes novērtēšana parauglaukumos. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka Eiropas platauši savām vasaras mītnēm visbiežāk izvēlas parastās priedes (Pinus sylvestris), kurās, salīdzinot ar citu sugu kokiem, biežāk un lielākā skaitā konstatētas šiem sikspārņiem potenciāli piemērotas mītnes.
