Il contributo esamina il ruolo degli Ospedalieri a Corleone, grosso centro agricolo della Sicilia, tra l'inchiesta papale del 1373 e la morte del precettore Antonio Taberna (1419). Nel decennio 1378-1388 esponenti di ricche famiglie furono sepolti a S. Giovanni, lasciarono denaro, commissionarono oggetti sacri , dipinti e Bianca de Brancaccio costruì un nuovo ospedale. Il precettore Ruggero Vaccarella migliorò le finanze, ma nel 1399 fu sostituito con Antonio Traversa, esponente di una nota famiglia messinese. Tra il XIV e il XVIII i monasteri femminili di Palermo erano ben radicati nel tessuto urbano e le badesse provenivano da nobili e facoltose famiglie. Nella prefazione si istituisce un parallelo tra il tardo-medioevo e l’età moderna. The study presented here is the conclusion of an inventory about hospitals having existed on the territory of some dioceses (Autun, Auxerre, Chalon-sur-Saône, Nevers and the south of that of Langres diocese) between XIIth and XVth centuries. Based on the data collected, an atlas of assistance and a directory of sources on medieval hospitals of the study area has been made. The compiled informations proved to be very different but also very heterogeneous. Nevertheless, reflexions were conducted about the characteristics of these hospitals and their relationships with their economic, religious, political and social environments. El objetivo de este artículo es reconstruir la evolución morfológica de la carta real diplomática catalanoaragonesa entre los reinados de Pedro el Ceremonioso y Alfonso el Magnánimo. A lo largo de este período, esta tipología documental, siguiendo los principios del Ars dictaminis, adaptó sus características externas e internas a las acciones jurídicas que contenía y a sus destinatarios, sin renunciar por ello a su simplicidad material y textual.
