Toward Quaternary QCA : Novel Majority and XOR Fuzzy Gates

As an emerging nanotechnology, quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) has been considered an alternative to CMOS technology that suffers from problems such as leakage current. Moreover, QCA is suitable for multi-valued logic due to the simplicity of implementing fuzzy logic in a way much easier than CMOS technology. In this paper, a quaternary cell is proposed with two isolated layers because of requiring three particles to design this quaternary cell. Pētījuma pamatuzdevumi ir: 1) noskaidrot, kādas ar politisko līdzdalību sasitītas darbības iedzīvotāji veic interneta vidē; 2) noteikt un salīdzināt dažādu sociālo grupu politiskās līdzdalības līmeni; 3) noteikt un salīdzināt ar kādām vērtībām sevi saista Latvijas iedzīvotāji, kādas politiskās līdzdalības aktivitātes veic saskaņā ar savām vērtībām. Alder pollen in Finland ripens after a short exposure to warm days in early spring, showing biennial variation in the onset of pollen ripening

We developed a temperature sum model to predict the daily pollen release of alder, based on pollen data collected with pollen traps at seven locations in Finland over the years 2000–2014. We estimated the model parameters by minimizing the sum of squared errors (SSE) of the model, with weights that put more weight on binary recognition of daily presence or absence of pollen. The model results suggest that alder pollen ripens after a couple of warm days in February, while the whole pollen release period typically takes up to 4 weeks. The kinetic studies are reviewed on low-pressure polymerization of ethylene over two types of organovanadium catalysts, viz., MgCl 2(THF) 2/VCl 4/Et 2AlCl and MgCl 2(THF) 2VOCl 3Et 2AlCl, each deposited on a magnesium carrier. The polymerization rate was found to be directly related to the catalyst and monomer concentrations (Figs. 2 and 3), unless when the access of the monomer to the reactive V-C bond is restricted by diffusion.
