The excavations in Capo Soprano country at Gela (1999-2001) have hallowed to recover a living quarter, in which was a hoard of 17 bronze coins of Punic Sicily with female head and horse in front of palm-tree. The stratigraphic excavation of the quarter has permitted to find two living phases, sealed by collapsed roofs and walls. The excavation has supplied information concerning the relative chronology of the layers and the walls, while the stratigraphic association between pottery and coins offers information concerning the absolute chronology. The main objective of this study is to make observations about the modes of production of the 5th century BC non-fractional silver coinage with the Greek legend Panormos (and variants) and with Punic legend ṣyṣ. The reconstruction of the dies sequences published by G. Kenneth Jenkins in 1971 and its recent updates will be considered above all. Instead, the identification of the issuing authority and the mint of the coins with legend ṣyṣ through the origin and the meaning of the term ṣyṣ and through the analysis of the bilingual emissions ṣyṣ -Panormos takes on a secondary importance. En el presente trabajo se ha realizado un estudio de la fauna de metazoos parásitos del salmonete de roca, Mullus surmuletus, en el Mediterráneo español. Se trata del estudio más detallado y completo hasta la fecha sobre los parásitos de este teleósteo en esta región. Además, en este trabajo investigamos las ventajas y limitaciones del uso de los parásitos como marcadores poblacionales y como herramientas para trazar el origen de las capturas de salmonete de roca con el fin de ayudar a gestionar y manejar esta especie que actualmente se encuentra sobreexplotada. L’autrice esamina cinque monete e due gettoni di epoca araba e normanna rinvenuti nello scarico dell’officina scoperta nella necropoli paleocristiana di Agrigento. Di particolare interesse un frammento di dirham attribuibile ad Ibrāhīm II che potrebbe anticipare la fruizione del sito anteriormente al X secolo.
