The aim of the study was to investigate the relationships between enjoyment, perceived physical activity competence, fundamental movement skills, and physical activity engagement of Grade 7 students participating in Finnish physical education. A secondary aim of the study was to examine gender differences in all assessed variables. The participants of the study were 404 Grade 7 students aged 13 years. The adoption of virtual synchronous machine (VSM) schemes for the control of power converters is gaining more and more attention both in academia and industry. The VSM control strategies fall into the category of grid-forming converter controls, and they are intended for a range of different applications, providing specific services and different kinds of support to the grid. For the participation in the frequency control of the system, power converters can be controlled with different strategies and methods, sharing the common concept of virtual inertia capability. In this work, a sensitivity analysis of two main categories of converter controls with virtual inertia is presented. The considered schemes are a grid-following current vector control with additional virtual inertia block and a grid-forming control scheme based on virtual synchronous machine concept. Based on a nationwide quantitative survey conducted on 2,000 households (including 1,000 demotorised households and 1,000 non-demotorised twin households), we propose to provide an overview of demotorisation in France. This survey by questionnaire was conducted during the winter of 2017-2018 with a panel of households representative of the French population (from the Metaskope panel of Kantar-TNS ex-TNS-Sofres). Combined with the ?Parc Auto? panel survey (Kantar-TNS for Ademe-CCFA-Ifsttar-DSR), this survey is an original source of data on the French demotorised households. Motor action execution in reaction-time movements : Magnetoencephalographic study

OBJECTIVE: Reaction-time movements are internally planned in the brain. Presumably, proactive control in reaction-time movements appears as an inhibitory phase preceding movement execution. We identified the brain activity of reaction-time movements in close proximity to movement onset and compared it with similar self-paced voluntary movements without external command. DESIGN: We recorded 18 healthy participants performing reaction-time and self-paced fast index finger abductions with 306-sensor magnetoencephalography and electromyography.
