Sosiaalisessa mediassa viraalisti leviävissä huumorikuvissa eli meemeissä käsitellään yhä enenevässä määrin myös mielenterveyttä. Meemit heijastelevat ja tuottavat kulttuurisia käsityksiä mielenterveydestä, sen hoidosta ja merkityksistä. Tässä artikkelissa paneudutaan mielenterveysmeemien tutkimiseen liittyviin tutkimuseettisiin ja metodologisiin kysymyksiin erityisesti etnografian ja multimodaalisen diskurssianalyysin näkökulmasta. Pursuing a broad range of learning objectives, effective physics laboratory courses need conducive-to-learning, motivating, and engaging experimental tasks. The Covid-19 pandemic has further increased the demand for quality experimental tasks which can also be used in online learning scenarios. The EU-funded DigiPhysLab-project meets this need by developing a set of 15 competence-centred experimental tasks which can be implemented by instructors effortlessly in their own lab courses, independent of whether they are held on-campus or in distance learning. Valorization potential of technical lignins from Norway spruce (Picea abies) via pyrolysis

Analytical pyrolysis (Py-GC/MS) on mg-scale of Norway spruce (Picea abies)-derived kraft lignin, ethanosolv lignin, and dried lignin-rich soda-anthraquinone (AQ) black liquors was studied at 500 °C to compare the valorization potential of these materials, focusing on the type and yield of condensable pyrolysis products. Of particular interest was the relatively selective formation of guaiacol (2-methoxyphenol) from the dried soda-AQ black liquors in contrast to the formation of complex phenolic product mixtures from the pyrolysis of the kraft and ethanosolv lignins. Risk recognition by prey is of paramount importance within the evolutionary arms race between predator and prey. Prey species are able to detect direct predator cues like odors and adjust their behavior appropriately. The question arises whether an indirect predation cue, such as the odor of scared individuals, can be detected by conspecifics and subsequently affects recipient behavior. Parents may also transfer their experience with predators to their offspring. In two experiments, we assessed how direct and indirect predation cues affect bank vole (Myodes glareolus) foraging behavior, reproduction, and pup fitness. The purpose of the present work is to describe the Musteloidea from the Late Miocene locality of Venta del Moro (Valencia, Spain). We have identified the following species: Martes ginsburgi nov. sp., Lutra affinis Gervais, 1859, Plesiogulo monspessulanus Viret, 1939 and Promephitis alexejewi Schlosser, 1924. Besides Plesiogulo monspessulanus which was already described in this locality and in Las Casiones (MN 13, Teruel Basin), we are approaching an unedited Musteloidea assemblage from the Miocene of the Iberian Peninsula. The m1 of Martes ginsburgi nov. sp. is similar in size and morphology to the Asian species of the genus, M. anderssoni and M. zdanskyi, but it differs in having a very wi…
