The Effect of perturbations on phytoplankton assemblages in a deep reservoir (Vouglans, France)

Disturbances, such as rainfall and hydrological management of Vouglans reservoir, seem to influence the establishment of the ecological system inside this man-made lake. In this paper, the main effect of these disturbances are changes in the z mix :z eu ratio, with a shift in the composition and phytoplankton dynamics, and consequently in the Shannon’s diversity. The seasonal changes found in the surface layers of Vouglans reservoir were typical for mesotrophic and temperate lakes, but some perturbations induced the ‘reversion’ to an earlier stage in the expected successional pattern during the stratification period. The film El color del camaleón (2017) by Andrés Lübbert, which has great cinematic and content merits, can be considered as an important part of Chilean films on memory and post-memory. I focus on its contribution to Chilean memory and the reconstruction of the truth through the unveiling, in particular, of cruel methods of forced recruitment used by the dictatorship’s secret services. They were used as a further tool to instill terror in society, and as a way of submission and control of the population.

Knowledge of conodont element function is based largely on analysis of morphologically similar P-1 elements of few comparatively closely related species known from abundant articulated remains. From these, a stereotypical pattern of rotational occlusion has been inferred, leading to the suggestion that this may represent a general model for ozarkodinin P-1 elements at the very least. Matching factorization theorems with an inverse-error weighting

We propose a new fast method to match factorization theorems applicable in different kinematical regions, such as the transverse-momentum-dependent and the collinear factorization theorems in Quantum Chromodynamics. At variance with well-known approaches relying on their simple addition and subsequent subtraction of double-counted contributions, ours simply builds on their weighting using the theory uncertainties deduced from the factorization theorems themselves. Forward rapidity isolated photon production in proton-nucleus collisions

We calculate isolated photon production at forward rapidities in proton-nucleus collisions in the Color Glass Condensate framework. Our calculation uses dipole cross sections solved from the running coupling Balitsky-Kovchegov equation with an initial condition fit to deep inelastic scattering data and extended to nuclei with an optical Glauber procedure that introduces no additional parameters beyond the basic nuclear geometry. We present predictions for future forward RHIC and LHC measurements.
