Onnistunut ohjaus? : abiturienttien kokemuksia opinto-ohjauksesta

Tutkimukseni tavoite on tarkastella opiskelijoiden kokemuksia opinto-ohjauksesta lukiossa. Tutkimuskysymykseni on: miten lukio-opiskelijat kuvaavat kokemuksiaan opinto-ohjauksesta ja minkälaiset ohjaustilanteet ovat heidän mukaansa olleet onnistuneita ja mitkä epäonnistuneita. Aineistonkeruu tapahtui ennalta laaditun teemahaastatteluarungon avulla. Haastateltavien joukkoon kuuluu ns. tavallisen lukion opiskelijoita sekä aikuislukion opiskelijoita. Analyysissa käytän kuvailevaa fenomenologista analyysia, joka pyrkii kuvailemaan haastateltavien kokemuksia. Elinikäisen ohjauksen kaksi vuosikymmentä ja ohjauksen tulevaisuus

Jyväskylän yliopiston Koulutuksen tutkimuslaitoksella juhlistettiin KT Raimo Vuorisen uraa ja eläköitymistä ”Elinikäisen ohjauksen kaksi vuosikymmentä ja ohjauksen tulevaisuus” -seminaarilla 9. kesäkuuta 2022. Vuorisen uran keskeisiä teemoja mukaillen seminaarissa keskusteltiin elinikäisen ohjauksen ja siihen liittyvien politiikkatoimien kehityksestä Suomessa ja maailmalla. Tapahtumaan osallistui paikan päällä reilut 70 henkilöä ja suorassa verkkolähetyksessä keskusteluja seurasi yli 200 katsojaa ympäri maailman. nonPeerReviewed

This study examined adolescent and maternal factors of the quality of maternal homework involvement and the extent to which the factors predicted adolescents' subsequent achievement through adolescents' and mothers' perceptions of the quality of maternal homework involvement. The sample consisted of 847 Finnish adolescents and their 662 mothers who both rated the quality of homework involvement (i.e., autonomy support and psychological control) in the fall of Grade 6. This Work in Progress Paper studies student and exercise modelling based on pass/fail log data gathered from an introductory programming course. Contemporary education capitalizes on the communications technology and remote study. This can create distance between the teacher and students and the resulting lack of awareness of the difficulties students encounter can lead to low student satisfaction, dropout and poor grades. In many cases, various technological solutions are used to collect individual exercise submissions, but there are little resources for indexing or modelling the exercises in depth. This study examined three aspects of maternal homework involvement (i.e., the quantity, quality, and source of initiative) and their direct and indirect associations with adolescents’ task-avoidant behavior in homework situations and academic achievement. The sample consisted of Finnish mothers and their adolescents who were transitioning from primary to lower secondary school.
