This article discusses the three Finnish city names Helsinki, Espoo, and Vantaa, and the urban discourses that surround them. The study reveals patterns of socio-spatial differentiation by examining what meanings people attach to these capital region cities and investigating how these meanings are expressed in online discourses. Using the methodological approach of corpus-assisted onomastics (CAO), this study incorporates onomastics, geographical information systems (GIS), and corpus linguistics. An efficient grid-based RF fingerprint positioning algorithm for user location estimation in heterogeneous small cell networks

This paper proposes a novel technique to enhance the performance of grid-based Radio Frequency (RF) fingerprint position estimation framework. First enhancement is an introduction of two overlapping grids of training signatures. As the second enhancement, the location of the testing signature is estimated to be a weighted geometric center of a set of nearest grid units whereas in a traditional grid-based RF fingerprinting only the center point of the nearest grid unit is used for determining the user location. Purpose – The authors explore how social approval assets, namely status and reputation, are used to legitimate and categorise a new national university. They argue that in the course of the legitimation process, status and reputation work as stakeholder-oriented value-creating benefits. The authors specifically analyse the discursive constructions and labels used in the process and how the process enables nationwide university reform.
