A ąuestionnaire on “the essence and goal of a novel” published in 1897 in “Kurier Niedzielny” is an interesting documentation of aesthetic views of writers and literary critics in the late 19th century. Representatives of all literary generations of that time - from pre-positivists through two generations of Polish positivists to Young Poland writers - speak in favor of moderate aestheticism protesting against bias in literaturę and defend the autonomy of an artist. En este artículo se ofrece un primer panorama acerca de la difusión y repercusión de las novelas de Sebastiano Erizzo y Niccolò Granucci en el Siglo de Oro, en particular de dos de sus obras principales, Le sei giornate (1567) y La piacevol notte et lieto giorno (1574). Las características de los ejemplares localizados y los datos recabados en torno a la circulación de ambas obras por tierras españolas permiten suponer que sus novelas, cuyo carácter moralista probablemente favoreciese su difusión, ejercieron un cierto influjo en la literatura áurea. L’analyse se focalise sur l’« attente », comme temps de la narration du roman Al-kāfira de ‘Alī Badr et moyen de dénonciation de la mentalité misogyne imposée par les mutašaddidīn musallaḥīn qui contrôlent le village où Fāṭima-Sophie a passé son enfance et son adolescence. Dans ce climat de répression politique et d’oppression sociale, la représentation littéraire de l’attente devient métaphore d’une condition existentielle et d’une identité à la fois individuelle et collective.

Resumen El objetivo del presente trabajo fue estudiar el efecto que tienen las motivaciones para consultar y escribir e-WOM sobre el compromiso con el e-WOM y la influencia de dicho compromiso en la adopción del e-WOM consultado. Para analizar estas relaciones, se realizó una investigación empírica aplicada en el contexto de los restaurantes. El ámbito geográfico fue Ecuador, con una muestra de 461 consumidores. Resumen En el presente estudio, se examinó el concepto de innovación en el sector minorista y se definieron sus relaciones con otras variables, como la satisfacción y la lealtad, tradicionalmente vinculadas con el establecimiento minorista. Para lograr los objetivos planteados, se delimitó un modelo teórico sustentado en la literatura, que se contrastó mediante un estudio empírico utilizando un cuestionario estructurado ad hoc aplicado a una muestra de 510 clientes de establecimientos de alimentación. The impact of quantitative easing on UK bank lending: Why banks do not lend to businesses?

Abstract The growing proportion of UK bank lending to the financial sector reached a peak in 2007 just before the onset of the Global Financial Crisis (GFC). This marks a trend in the dwindling amount of bank lending to private sector non-financial corporations (PNFCs), which was exacerbated with the Great Recession. Many central banks aimed to revive bank lending with quantitative easing (QE) and unconventional monetary policy. Voronovskaya type results and operators fixing two functions

The present paper deals with positive linear operators which fix two functions. The transfer of a given sequence (Ln) of positive linear operators to a new sequence (Kn) is investigated. A general procedure to construct sequences of positive linear operators fixing two functions which form an Extended Complete Chebyshev system is described. The Voronovskaya type formula corresponding to the new sequence which is strongly influenced by the nature of the fixed functions is obtained. Removing the saturation assumption in Bank-Weiser error estimator analysis in dimension three

International audience; We provide a new argument proving the reliability of the Bank-Weiser estimator for Lagrange piecewise linear finite elements in both dimension two and three. The extension to dimension three constitutes the main novelty of our study. In addition, we present a numerical comparison of the Bank-Weiser and residual estimators for a three-dimensional test case.
