Messung der Spinpolarisation langsamer Elektronen nach elastischer Streuung an festen Hg-Targets
1967
SpinpolarizationP(Θ) of slow electrons elastically scattered by a solid Hg-target has been studied in a double-scattering experiment for electron energies between 300 eV and 900 eV. For the same energy range the angular dependence of the scattered intensity has been measured. Maximum degree of polarization found isP=−0.23±0.04 (E=900 eV,Θ=105°).
A 15 ?s isomer in thez=70n=83 nucleus153Yb
1989
Gamma-ray measurements following mass analysis of102Pd+245 MeV54Fe reaction products have characterized a 15 μs isomeric decay in153Yb and elucidated the systematics of proton-rich N=83 nuclei.
The g-factor of the J?=12+ isomeric state in188Hg
1983
Using the reaction175Lu(19F, 6n) theg-factor of the188Hg isomeric state (Jπ=12+,T1/2=135 ns) has been measured with the TDPAD method. The experimental value g=−0.168(10) supports the interpretation of an almost pure (vi13/2)−2 configuration for this isomer.
First evidence for the 2+ level in the very neutron-rich nucleus102Sr
1995
Evidence for the 2+ level in102Sr is obtained from theβ-decay of102Rb, mass separated at the ISOLDE facility. The energy of 126 keV and the collectivity of the 2+→0+ transition indicate that102Sr is a strongly deformed rigid rotor. In addition, a sizeable lifetime is measured for the 94 keV transition in102Y.
Nuclear moments and change in the charge-radii of neutron deficient lead isotopes
1987
The nuclear moments of195Pb and the change in the charge radii of192,194,195,196Pb have been determined from the isotope shift and hyperfine structure of the 723 nm line of neutral lead by collinear laser spectroscopy.
No evidence for medium effects in the12C(e, e'p)11Bg.s. reaction
1995
The12C(e, e'p)11B g.s reaction has been measured in parallel and anti-parallel kinematics over ap m range of −120<p m<120 MeV/c at a centralT p of 90 MeV. In contrast to previous measurements at NIKHEF, both kinematics can be described without enhancement of the transverse form factor of the bound proton (η=0.98(5)). The spectroscopic factor for this transition as determined with the new Mainz data (S α =1.54(5)) is 22% smaller than the NIKHEF value.
Die relative Isotopenlage des Os186
1962
Using three different samples of Os192, Os190 and Os186 enriched to 98.68%, 95.46%, and 61.27%, respectively, the isotopic shiftsΔν(Os192−Os190) andΔν(Os192−Os186) have been measured in four Os I-lines with a recording Fabry-Perot spectrometer. The relative isotopic position of Os186 has been found to be $$\frac{{\Delta \nu (Os^{192} - Os^{186} )}}{{\Delta \nu (Os^{192} - Os^{190} )}} = 3.52 \pm 0.03.$$
First measurement ofK-shell-electron to internal-pair conversion probability ratios forE0 transitions inf p shell region
1986
Magnetic plus Si(Li) spectrometers designed for high-resolution conversion-electron and internal-pair measurements, are employed to obtainK-shell-electron to internal-pair conversion probability ratios forE0 transitions in54Fe,60Ni,64Zn and70Ge. The results are found to be in good agreement with theoretical predictions.
High-statistics measurement of the β-delayed α spectrum of 20Na
2013
A measurement of the 20Na β-delayed alpha spectrum with a high-granularity setup has allowed the decay scheme to be revised on several points. Three new transitions of low intensity are found at low α -particle energy. An R-matrix fit of the complete spectrum gives an improved description of the decay and indicates feeding to the broad 2+ α-cluster state close to 9MeV. c Societa Italiana di Fisica / Springer-Verlag 2013
An experimental study of the antineutron-light nucleus annihilation at 1.4 GeV/c
1979
The heavy liquid bubble chamber, Gargamelle, has been used to investigate the gross features of the annihilation of antineutrons in light nuclei (mainly Carbon). Results are presented on the distributions of multiplicity, momentum and emission angle for charged pions and protons together with a simple model to describe them.
