In the ?barri del mercat?, in the city of Valencia and very close to its Lonja, there is a building complex which is the object of this study. The research, carried out from the simple field of toponymy, to the constructive analysis, lead us to suppose that it is the building of the Valencian trade union of cloth-shearers. It can be seen how the building now camouflaged by other subsequent interventions, corresponds to a type that cannot be related to those usually built in the city of Valencia. Analyse du caractère dynamique des recommandations dans l'industrie cinématographique : le cas des franchises de films

The release of motion picture sequels by studios led to the emergence of interaction effects between sequels over the time and in consequence altering models predicting the box office. If some scholars have examined these interaction effects, they were limited to the box office revenues. The paper proposes an extension of the interaction effects to third-party recommendations. The results – covering 123 sequels – demonstrate the dynamic and persistent nature of the recommendations.

Finnish universities are increasingly adopting EMSs in order to improve their sustainability performance. Theoretical background includes studies on EMS implementation in universities and sustainability networks. Insufficient management commitment leading to lack of resources and time has been identified as a common hindering factor with regard to implementation of said systems. Englanti on kieli, jota moni suomalainen tarvitsee työelämässään. Maahanmuuttajien määrä kasvaa erityisesti pääkaupunkiseudulla. Helsingissä työskentelevät poliisit kohtaavat työssään yhä useammin tilanteita, joissa vaaditaan englannin kielen taitoa. Poliisien kielitaito on aihe, jota ei ole tutkittu paljon; viimeisin tutkimus lienee vuodelta 1994. Näin ollen tämä tutkimus tuo arvokasta tietoa poliisien englannin taidoista. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoitus oli selvittää millaisissa työtilanteissa poliisit käyttävät englantia ja millainen on poliisien mielipide heidän omasta englannin kielen taidostaan.
