Teaching entrepreneurship and startups is a challenging task. Approaches using real or simulated entrepreneurship as a teaching method are also common in startup education. The framework for this study is andragogy, which places the life context of adult learners at the center of the learning process (Knowles 1990). This study has been carried out using grounded theory as a research methodology. In this study I try to understand four prospective adult class teachers’ identity works on the basis of their learning diaries during a mathematics education course (6 ECTS). The complexity of language learning may be expanded to learning the languages belonging to the same language family, for example, Slavic languages. This paper reports on the reflection-on action research aimed at the increase of learners’ multicultural competence and enhancement of critical thinking at the interdisciplinary, blended course of Slavic languages and cultures. Artikkelin tarkoituksena on tarkastella aikuisena luokanopettajiksi opiskelevien oppimisen ilon kokemuksia matematiikan peruskurssin aikana kirjoitettujen oppimispäiväkirjojen pohjalta. Fenomenologishermeneuttisen tutkimuksen aineistona on satunnaisotannalla valittujen 10 oppimispäiväkirjan oppimiskokemusten kuvaukset, jotka analysoitiin Atlas.ti -ohjelmalla. Oman matematiikkasuhteen merkityksen tiedostaminen, vertaistuki, yhteisöllinen ja salliva oppimisilmapiiri, onnistumisen kokemukset matematiikan tehtävissä, tavoitteiden asettaminen ja näkyväksi tekeminen sekä niihin pyrkiminen pitkäjänteisellä työllä nousivat esille merkityksellisinä oppimisen ilon kokemuksina. peerReviewed
