Abstract At present, there is no single viewpoint that defines QA strategies in analytical chemistry. Paternity Testing Commission of the International Society of Forensic Genetics: recommendations on genetic investigations in paternity cases

The International Society for Forensic Genetics (ISFG) has established a Paternity Testing Commission (PTC) with the purpose of formulating international recommendations concerning genetic investigations in paternity testing. The PTC recommends that paternity testing be performed in accordance with the ISO 17025 standards. The ISO 17025 standards are general standards for testing laboratories and the PTC offers explanations and recommendations concerning selected areas of special importance to paternity testing. # 2002 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd. When referring to migrants, the collective representation sees them as recipients of services offered by the third sector and not, in the first instance, as actors actively engaged in associative processes. Addressing the issue of the relationship between migrants and the third sector implies, therefore, proposing a change of perspective that leads to think of migrants (also this rather wide category) not as direct beneficiaries, as victims in need, but as protagonists actively engaged in the institutions or as collaborators, experts, employees, therefore paid, or as volunteers, free of charge.

In this work we present a study of how environmental sustainability deals with on secondary school centres. The analysis includes the current status in teaching chemistry at secondary level: laboratory teaching, classroom books and the point of view of chemistry teachers about the environmental hazard of some of the chemicals used along in these tasks. El presente trabajo pretende mostrar los logros conseguidos en los laboratorios docentes de la Facultad de Química de la Universidad de Valencia tras el proceso de reducción de las cantidades con las que los estudiantes realizan las prácticas de química. El cambio de modelo de trabajo a una escala más reducida permite una serie de ventajas económicas y medioambientales como consecuencia de la disminución en las cantidades de residuos generados.

Resumen: Edicion critica y estudio historico, formal y linguistico del discurso con el que Juan II de Aragon abrio, el 13 de noviembre de 1469, las cortes generales de Monzon. En plena guerra civil catalana, los rebeldes habian ofrecido la corona a Renato de Anjou, y la llegada desde Francia de su hijo, el duque de Lorena, con un poderoso ejercito obligaba a pedir subsidios para afrontar la grave situacion. En este parlamento, una de las escasas muestras de aragones tardio conservadas, el monarca hizo un relato autobiografico de su reinado de innegable sesgo maniqueo. Kombinētie darba vides riski pārtikas ķīmijas nozares laboratorijās, preventīvie pasākumi darba aizsardzībā

Literatūras apskatā apkopota informācija par ķīmijas laboratoriju darba vides raksturojumu un nozares vispārējo stāvokli Latvijā, iekļaujot statistikas datus par arodnegadījumiem Latvijas un ārzemju laboratorijās. Otrajā daļā ir aprakstītas pētījumā lietotās metodes, bet trešajā daļā ir iegūto datu apkopošana un rezultātu analīzes izklāsts. Izstrādāti preventīvie pasākumi. Iegūtie pētījuma rezultāti ļauj secināt, ka pētītās laboratorijas vispārējā risku novērtējumā ir pieņemams risks, II riska pakāpe.
