Understanding space in ephemeral organizations: contributions of commented walksThis article examines a particular type of ephemeral organization in which institutional and secular actors are connected resting upon on a strong territorial basis. Their fleeting quality is however compatible with a certain degree of permanency. The authors question the sources and resources of such permanency and insist on the role of space in coordinating collective action, and in this case, in preventing urban incivilities. They call on an unusual method, called Commented Walks, to capture the relation between such organizations and space.

Fifty years ago, higher education globally had started to change radically in terms of the proportion of young people enrolled in the system as well as society's expectations for what this would deliver. From the outset, Higher Education has featured research interrogating various aspects of inequality in higher education, including institutions and staff as well as students. This article offers an overview of that work. Our analysis is structured around three levels at which major questions on this topic have been framed and investigated. L’objectif de cet article est de proposer une approche comprehensive de la communication des organisations publiques a travers le cas des Caisses d’Allocations Familiales (CAF). Les travaux dont il est issu ont eu pour objet d’interroger les representations des cadres, charges de communication et directeurs des CAF autour de la notion d’institution communicante. Il s’agit notamment de preciser si celle-ci releve d’un artefact ou pourrait -et a quelles conditions- constituer un modele valide pour analyser la communication des organisations publiques.

Through a reading of cinematic cultural diplomacy in the post-World War II UNESCO context, this study focuses on the potential cinema holds for speaking to the politics of difference.
