Summary Background/objective Patient compliance during orthodontic treatment is one of the factors that most affects success in the final result. The use of removable appliances is frequent at an early age and the monitoring of its use is essential to assess the collaboration of the patient. Motion analysis in the field of dentistry: a kinematic comparison of dentists and orthodontists

Objectives: To conduct a kinematic comparison of occupational posture in orthodontists and dentists in their workplace. Design: Observational study. Setting: Dentist surgeries and departments of orthodontics at university medical centres in Germany. Introduction The aim of this study is to analyze articles published in orthodontic journals included in Journal Citation Reports (JCR) to determine current trends in orthodontic publishing. Methods Articles included in orthodontic journals in 2016 JCR and published during 2007-2017 were selected.
